All mentioned are very good Stadiums. For high school and HS only, W.W. Thorne is one of the top HS venues. IMO.

WO-S.  Lost their starter to Westfield, kicked the next one off the team.  Won a game with a 4th string QB and are in the Semi's.  I imagine when they loose a kid, it's like losing 2.......

Question:  What Div 1 college builds a 31K seat stadium with MidCounty(no) parking?
 
Located at the apex of I35E and 35W and is a nightmare to access when UNT's finest block off roads.  I managed to park on concrete but alot of fans were charged $10 bucks to park on grass #cantcomplainabouttheButch

I wouldn't go that far Coach, some of the who can do what was obvious. Give you know who the Ball & everything else opens up. Everything was and will be easy if they come off that rock & let this kid carry this Team. Real Talk

Crosby is a good Team, but the fans don't play the game, yet we do most of the talking. As I tell my son; let your play do the talking. I stated earlier if #25 gets 15-17 carries he will get 100 yds rushing. So JJ Watt better be ready. This Ozen team has seemed to settle down a little. Taking nothing from Crosby, I think they are a very talented group, I just won't count Ozen out

They've always been referred to as Houston C.E.King for decades and decades by the papers etc.  King High school and surrounding residents have a Houston mailing address though.

Man I can't stress enough how simple Central offense is...won't beat a good team running a offense like that! Toby still believes that "out athleting" folks is going to win at this level. Not gone happen especially when you start playing teams with the same talent level. This isn't WOS/3a ball anymore you gotta have good offensive and defensive schemes. I still do believe that Toby is a great coach and does a tremendous job at motivating those keeps which i believe is his greatest asset as a coach but I don't believe he's the best X&O guy which will show and eventually end Centrals season VERY soon. 
 
 
On another note, I attended the Manvel/Pearland game yesterday and I watched Manvel offense move with perfection and I thought to myself its no reason Central offense shouldn't move like this. Just as much talent on offense and a QB just as good(well maybe not lol)
 
I think a lot of the local area teams will take early playoffs exits because of the elementary schemes that most of our area teams run. Thats just my two cents though  :D

this years team was not a bad team. lets point out somethings...you had a veteran offensive line which pretty much opened holes and blocked fairly well even when the box was loaded. no need to mention the ground game. kicker was good. the defense had alot of returning starters.
 
problem areas- QB- first off harrison is not a bad QB.kid has poise and can throw the ball. his accuracy was not good.
 
wr- sorry but mcclain was NOT a true go to wr. a go to guy is gonna stretch the field, catch the ball while being covered, etc... mclain just happen to be open in the flat ALOT and dropped alot too. i feel with the right coaching (if the kids wanted it, didn't look like they did) the two big wr's could have worked.
 
THE #1 REASON THIS SEASON WAS A FAILURE WAS COACHING!!! not just kenny ray,the whole staff!!
starting with the head coach and OC. i know harrison was and is going to have to learn and grow as a qb,BUT you have to do things to keep people honest. had he kept the ball more when teams would stack the box, they MIGHT be playing this week. play calling was very suspect this year. it's like no confidence was behind the kids AT ALL!! just hand the ball off to the two studs??? that was his game plan ALL year!! PAM is a passing team and all of sudden you wanna run it?? in that case i would have rather seen them line up and run the I or pro set. YOU DIDN'T FOOL ANYONE WITH ZONE READ AND PISTOL!!!!
 
DC- this has been a problem FOREVER AT PAM!! the state semi final team defense was gifted and talented and was able to stop people. looks like suggs will be staying at ozen, but PAM need a strong DC  NOW!!!!!!!!!  usually PAM can shut down your air attack, these kids was clearly out of position most of the time. LB spot still was weak and that hurt PAM again. besides the donkey stomping Lamar put on them and the shoot out with CV, PAM was in all the games and seemed to get frustrated and give up at the end.

Ozen and Central haven't been to the playoffs together since the fall of 2002. Over a decade ago...

In reference to our defense, just to prove my point, Vidor offense didnt excede 300 yards and no Pirate ran for over 100 yards. As I said, they held strong..

One day you PNG people will simply judge your team for what they bring to the field and not compare what others do against Nederland. Nice of you all to put Nederland so high up as a measuring stick for your team. lol,,,,,I just see Central loaded with talent and athletes. My score pick is not a knock against PNG it's more out of respect for what Central can put on th field,,,,they have serious talent, more than PNG and that really is not meant as a knock against PNG. You are right, Central will probably give up a charity touchdown late in the game.

NDN, I can't stand the pooch. I haven't seen many returns for a TD in our District anyway. Kick it to the end zone & cover your lanes. Give good teams a short field, you're gonna pay. I guarantee the playoff opponent will appreciate it. Ozen will definitely take it. Will help us with our field position issues. Thanks
