Not a big part, but a part nonetheless. I was @the first PAM game. I was at the first PAM game which they had clock ran on them in the 2nd half(Northshore). Most people(offline) come to me for all modern area football history. You may not like my high standards for the next PAM coach. Standards like----well not coaching football like powder puff. Being hard nosed and defensive oriented. Remembering that football is a collision sport. Just having a proven record of winning on and off the field....

The thread is about the next coach of PAM and I guess you have a love jones for KRH because you will not address my concerns of him being the next PAM coach. He was forced on Colbert and RTG. Now you want to force him on the citizens of PAISD to continue the losing tradition. As I stated before I was only voicing my opinion on Kenny Harrison a home town boy that is back in his community trying to make a difference, when you started making personal and derogatory comments against him What derrogatory comments? Trying to make a difference is good if he wants to be a mentor or Big Brother to kids. HC is another story. Will you please cite for me and the rest who don't think he can coach his way out of a cardboard box, some game, some play, some situation which he suggested, which PAM cam out the victor. If all you gonna do is cheerlead for KRH, say that. Otherwise, keep your cheerleading to yourself....

I'm responsible for running the do-nothing, money stealing board members plus my parents still live in Lakeside Park. So I don't live here but I still vote here..... Precint 33 @SFA Middle School.... And KRH, your boy, still can't coach.....

So instead of getting a proven winner, you want to go with a person who's been part of the under achieving, soft play calling, no or little defense having, position coach. Well I'll play along for a bit. You say your son played the first 2 years so that would be the 5-4 campaign and the 9-4 team that went to the 3rd round. Okay, the first year, they got embarrassed by Smithson Valley among others and didn't make the playoffs. 2nd year, KRH was the one who called a double twin formation against Katy when PAM was on it's own 4 yard line and called running plays when Katy had 7 in the box. He's also responsible for the 3rd year which JC ran the ball on average of 35 times a game----opposing teams would load up to 9 in the box to stop the run. Porterie(sp) left PAM with 1300 yards passing that year and now @New Mexico, avg. over 300 yards per game passing. Running when we should've thrown, passing when we should have ran. Those teams were a combined 19-13 with JC et al playing. Now moving to the years post JC: 2-5 during the Rita season. The Old Man comes in and goes 5-6, 2-7, and 3-6---all with KRH supposedly the OC. See, when the talent drops/leaves, there's a point when coaching actually needs to be done instead of depending on talent. Sorry, again, your boy KRH is a nice guy, but an X's and O's man he isn't. We need a Chess Master in PA, not a dude who barely knows how to play Checkers....

Last I looked, PAM was in need of a football coach and not a life coach. Again, as I've said in numerous post on this matter, he may be good with the kids but from the standpoint of experience and X's and O's, he's sorry. Point blank. And again, from a source very, very close to the situation, he only called 2 plays out of 300 or so during the course of the season and he's supposed to be the OC. He needs more seasoning and experince in actually in-game strategy. Besides, he's a direct disciple of Sissy Ball and that hasn't worked out to well for PAM since the Old Man's been here.......

You would have to admit playing for a USC, Bama, Penn St., S. Carolina, Michigan(before Carr left) got the average player ready for the pros better due to the offenses and defense ran there. Plus, some of those school mentioned have ex-NFL coaches that know how to prepare their kids for the next level. They tend not to fall for the latest Spread/Nickle D gimmick that is pervasive in college ball....

Why would paisd want to hire suggs when he has over 4,000 students and missed the playoffs two years in a row, and this year 4 teams were able to go. memorial only have 2200 STUDENTS AND WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS. But the only school in Aldine to make the playoffs was Ike. The UIL put Humble ISD in the same district with them so he had to battle Humble and Kingwood and lost a close one to Colbert but trust me, if you want KH, and if you are who I think you are, you should pm me so I can tell you why KH shouldn't under any circumstances, be hired as the HC.... All I know is his 3 years @Lincoln and Central he went 2 rounds with the Bees, 1 round the first year @Central, and the 3rd round with Central his last year in the area. Plus he was 5-1 against Mid County schools(a far cry from 5A ball but nobody has a better record against them except WO-S). Now 2 years ago, PAM finished 4th or 3rd place--a far cry from tied district champs. You maybe thinking about J Charles junior or senior year. For 3 years, KH has been simply signalling the plays(I got that information from a very reliable source) and the Old Man has been calling plays w/o wearing headphones. No communication with the booth. So if you claim PA and love it like you say you do, take off those Bob West blinders so you can see KH isn't ready and we need a list of qualified applicants(Suggs being one of them) to bring PAM athletics back to where it was in the 80's......

I HEAR EVERYONE SAYING ALL THESE OTHER SO CALLED GREAT COACHES (SUGGS) THAT IS LOADED WITH STUDENTS, SIZE AND TALENT,BUT NONE OF THEM HAS WON A STATE TITLE OR EVEN CONTENDED FOR ONE ON THE 5A LEVEL, TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. MY SON ATTENDS CINCO RANCH IN KATY. NONE OF HIS COORDINATORS TEACH CLASSES, WHICH MEANS THEY STRICTLY STUDY THERE OPPONENTS WITHOUT ANY DISTRACTIONS AT ALL. THAT HOLDS TRUE FOR ALL KATY SCHOOLS, NO COORDINATORS TEACH CLASSES. MAYBE PAISD SHOULD TRY THAT SINCE KATY WON STATE AGAIN, CINCO WENT 3 DEEP, AND KATY TAYLOR WENT 3 DEEPS ALSO. I THINK KENNY CARES MORE ABOUT YOUR STUDENTS THAN A STRANGER, AND HE PROVES IT BY HIS DEDICATION TO THEM DAILY. Kenny has no play calling expericence.... Now if you went to school in PA, you were coached by men who also taught except the HC. I could care less about what they do in Katy but I know they're sound on defense, and they don't play Sissy Ball on O. If you want to nominate KH for a job in the Peace Corp, or Doctors Without Borders, then fine. PA needs a defense first, run downhill, hit-you-in-the-mouth HC and I hope Boutte recognizes this......
