  1. Central 12 Ozen 7 2nd quarter
  2. Overall series should be 3-3....
  3. Willie probably would fair better playing Bball at the next level. The night they played Nederland was right after TO was running lazy routes when the Cowboys lost and WJ was doing the same thing. Of course, Rison trying an onside kick coming out of halftime didn't help matters either....
  4. No, we need to get rid of the old man and Xbox Kenny. Dropping to 4A save money yes, but with that bunch, they'd lose to MC on the regular no matter the talent level. That's the problem: living in the past and losing in the present. Crowds will come no matter where PA plays as long as they're winning.
  5. Sorry, I didn't mean to get the Geese confused with the Rangers. Didn't know RSS was 4-0 against TJ in the mid 90's so again I stand corrected.
  6. This seems to be in danger this year. My JY Lions are 2-5 I think......
  7. "Freakin' un-ba-leave-a-ble! Dis is 'Morial, main! Dey can't stop us! We wuz once tree skools, now we iz one skool!" Whoaaaaaaaaaa! (deep enhale of 20th cig in one hour) Funny thing about that, when we had 3 schools, I don't think any lost to REL. We were 3a so that rules us out. Don't know how many times they played Lincoln if any, and TJ owned them. If you guys listen to Boob West on 560 am on Wednesday nights, I will try to get on the radio, challange him to man up, and run RTG out of time since he was his main supporter for him to get the job....
  8. Ned was bound to throw a pick or 2. They had your best WR on lock with a kid that runs a 10.6 100 meters. Don't be mad at me because Nuemann didn't stick with the run. Fumbles and INT's are a part of football. The team with the least of them usually wins but since you watch football like a woman, I guess you wouldn't know such things. Central may have 'changed' their offense last Monday but the Airforce/Flexbone is a variation of the original Wishbone with some twist. Again, y'all are lucky Central only ran 1/3 of the offense since I didn't see much QB keep or pitch. Just dives and spectacular play on 3rd down from their QB.....
  9. This is a smash-mouth football district. Even Nederland had to toughen themselves on offense after what WO-S did to them. I look at teams who run the ball and play tough physical defense at the end of the day, win ball games barring turnovers. Livingston did go 10-3 last year running the Wing T. The Wing T, an offense from the 30's and 40's with some updated wrinkles. The Central game could have been much worse if Central's QB really ran that Bone, i. e. could pitch on occation. Nederland is still soft on the run and because it is, they put at least 8-10 on the box, and it caused them to play #21 and #5, their best WR's as corners and they were beat every time. I watched the last 5 minutes or so of the Livingston/PN-G game and if they run the dive play with half of the success against Nederland, it will be a long night in MC. They also get after the QB on defense so I see a repeat of this past Friday. BTW, my daughter was on the homecoming court(I'm so proud of her)..... Coushata(sp) Lions 42 Nederland 14
  10. Time for Father Time Thompson and Xbox Kenny to go....
  11. Ronnie Thompson and that whole crew from Varsity to the 7th grade. They can stay and teach(Except RTG) but they need to hang up the whistles.....
  12. They'd run the 'U betcha' Spread O and the 'By Golly' D
  13. Bone was a neighbor, and a .500 coach @Lincoln dispite the talent he had. The one quote that sums up Bone's 'contribution' to PA football was when he said the Bees wouldn't go 0-10 because they only have 9 games scheduled..... Bone was Boob West's favorite coach because he would loose to PN-G and TJ on the regular. Alot of NFL'ers and Super Bowl champions played under Bone, but they learned how to win in college. After playing and watching PAISD football since '77 or so, I haven't been impressed with any coaching staff except for Marler @SFA and Suggs @Lincoln. We need a complete purging of football coaches from Ronnie Washedup Thompson all the way down to the 7th grade coaches. They can stay and teach, but they need to hang up the whistles. A co-worker, and friend told me just yesterday, if PAM, Ozen, and Central ever got good coaching, WB would be in trouble..... He's right.....
  14. Yeah Penny I was there. I guess you didn't read my 10 Observations from the game let me go get em for ya.... 1. Rison's test-ti-Cals shrank after halftime: Being tied 7-7 going for the onside kick was dumb as if they were down by 21.... 2. Ozen can't tackle: Grogan's big but their were a ton of missed tackles---many for lost. I guess WO-S is a better tackling team 3. If Ned adjusted bringin the OLB's to the line for the outside run, why not try running a trap play? 4. Ozen still 'gets friendly' when Ned/PN-G comes to town Maybe both schools need an infusion of Black players for them to get up and stay up for 4 Quarters 5. Put #81 on 'T. O.' Jefferson. He ran lazy routes just like his appearent hero. 6. Wider line splits on the O-line. Take note Central 7. Rison should let the QB audible. OLB's come up to stop the run, then call a hot route to the WB or TE 8. Should've played Asa and #5 man up and kept a safety back and bring a safety down to stop the run 9. Ozen can still make the playoffs. But Rison can't call plays like he's in a Sarah Palin interview. 10. Let me give the pre-game pep talk ala Lou Holtz. I'll get those kids' minds right like in Cool Hand Luke or they wouldn't play.....
  15. Because he runs lazy ass routes...... Ozen needs to run, and run, and run this week to work on conditioning. That and tackling drills....
  16. Neither lol. I'm too busy making excuses for PAM and Ozen...
  17. Sounds like he's 'undisciplined'.........
  18. PAM will be NS..... To the buses after the game....
  19. Haven't had quality coaching since the schools merged....
  20. When and who were scared to play Mount Belvieu? Must be your soft bunch Scooter. Wasn't us...... Come on SFA you know you were scared ;D ;D Oh yeah we were shiverin'. 21 points and 4 quarters later, we were still shaking in our cleats.... lol
  21. They may even beat WB's JV and freshman squads but the point remains WO-S, as great as it's program is from top to bottom, isn't supposed to run with a 5A program. I tell you what, play NS 9th and JV and you'll see my point. I don't speak out against those Ponies in no shape, form, or fashion but come on Gas: There are a bunch of bums down in PA just ruining the program. They'd do better getting the Pop-Warner coaches.....
  22. Is this the combination of smiley and forest brook? I thought i had heard they were going to be out of school a while longer due to the storm. Good to see they are playing again. I think they relocated to the old Smiley Campus but yes it is the combination of FB and Smiley. 3-0, 1-0 in district....
  23. Alright now Mr Forest Park, it's been a long while since WB won Reg 3 and their chances are still slim so don't talk just yet.
