Why do you think west brooks o-line is in a two point stance most of the time....if it does not allow "good technique"? Coach Bowser does an excellent job with his Oline making sure they have the proper 2 point stance plus knowing who to block in their zone blocking scheme. Quick hands and feet and proper gap responsilbilities. PAM's oline coach lets them have their hands on their knees which is poor technique before the ball even snaps. Plus WB does go to the Triple I formation inside the 15 yardline while PAM stays in the spread.....

The Oline doesn't have good technique in that 2-point stance. Here's the best opportunity to line up in the I with Sinnett(sp) and FB and Roy Jr. and Cuz @TB and run the ball but that's too much like right. They'll still be soft as drug store cotton balls because that old bum and his trusty sidekick Kenny XBox Harrison can't call a game....

I'll make sure to get a game or 2 in this season.....

Hey you never know. I have a 2nd cousin that was @FB last year and they were on Smiley's campus. She told me it was rough last year but things are much smoother. The high school will be in the old FB building and hopefully this coach will do a whole lot better than that crap we have/had in Port Arthur. Keep in mind this guy did get Smiley into the playoffs for the first time since '88 and he was in line for the Ike job in Aldine. I wish we could get him in Port Arthur....

Jasper would more than likely win 20-4A in my opinion as would WO-S. I think overall the district will be down this season. Oh Oh. We Jake and people like him say the district is 'down' this year, that means Ozen or Central will win it lol....... BTW, WO-S by 21.... Actually, I do think either Central or Ozen will win the district. My money right now is on Central. But, I think the top 4 will be Central, Nederland, Port Neches, and Ozen. PAM 4-6(3-2) Central 8-2(7-0) Ozen 7-3(6-1) I see PAM finishing 3rd(and that's sad they can't challange either NS or WB for the title). I see Central running through the district and Ozen finishing 2nd or third.....

Don't sound like he, Roy Jr., or Senette(sp) did much since they were throwing it all around like some 7-7 retards

I heard the same thing. 1-1 in the control portion. 9-6 during game situation. I will sum up PAM's performance thusly: 2nd and 1 and they threw the ball 3 times and came up short. In a word: Pitiful. Looks like I will have to write up a Keith Olbermann-esque "Special Comment" on why RTG and his cast of bums should be removed from PAM. And trust me fellas, it just ain't the football team.......

I counted 4 TD's a piece. LM's no 1's had 3, Central's no 1's had 4 and LM's #2's had 1

Saw them against Yates last year. QB throws rainbow passes and the RB runs hard. Their best player went D1 I believe. But like the article says, depth is a problem.

I'll get back to you on being 'a Brook hater'.... On NS strength of program: Yes. No doubt. And this year's addition will be stout on defense, especially on the Dline. May have a Dline to rival that of Lufkin. My whole thing is if Brook makes through Ike, Katy, and Westfield unscathed then they have a Puncher's chance. Now if WB had the 3000+ kids they did back in the early to mid 90's which they were 2 deep in every spot, then it would be competitive but again, WB, eventhough they've been getting the better kids as of late, are thin depth wise. It's hard to replace DE's like #10 and #5 and not to expect some dropoff on defense. Plus, C. Micheals in the main event now. No Williams back there to balance out the rushing. Also, unless C Lewis has picked up some speed, he's not much of a running threat.... Wow, this is such a long sentence. I can't believe you attended Brook typing run-on sentences such as this. Anyway, I liken NS to be the Euless Trinity of Houston with Katy being the 5A SLC(SLC won state 3 times in 3A)......

Dont worry about us West enders and drugs. I suggest your team stock up on pain killers if they line up against DA BROOK--gonna need em after the game. It's cute how you WestEnders get all giddy about the Bruin's chances this season. I get that. But being proud of beating Ozen and Central may fill seats but I talk to people in the know and depth is a big concern for the Brook. There's the 2 Christians in the backfield and the WR's that have to double up but behind all the flash and glitter, theres little depth. Any injury to either Christian and it's gonna be rough for WB since they have 3 heavy hitters in nondistrict. The only team they may beat besides Ozen and Central is Katy but I saw them beat PAM with Charles running for 270 and winning by 20....

There needs to be manditory drug testing for all WestEnders on this board. Y'all are high if you think WB can win district with a band new Dline. The old addage of defense winning championships will be proven out by NS week 10.....

Supposedly Lufkin's throwing away the spread and going back to the I-formation. Mr. McFarlan is the real deal. There also is a DE that's tough also.
