  1. WOS-NorthShore lol ;D ;D
  2. Give it up Scooter. PAM can't run the rock nor stop the run. WB has to run the receivers both ways @DB plus replace 2 D1 DE's. I tell you what, NS looses to either, I won't post here ever again.....
  3. Scooter whatever you're smokin', you need to quit. I've seen on tape and live what NS brings to the table. WB is ultrathin on defense, and PAM's ultrathin on offense plus their offensive and defensive schemes are sissy @best. NS keeps a squad of grown men in their football program and will continue their district dominance until the UIL suffles the deck in 2010......
  4. That's killing PAM's program. From what I was told @the beginnig of last football season, RTG strongly pushes those kids to either play football or basketball and strongly discourage the kids to play more than one sport. Those who buck the system get their playing time messed with. Mostly on the football field but it's killing all sports. They would prefer the kids in 7 on 7 vs. running track. Sad state of affairs in PA..... School board is quiet and the new high school is coming up just nicely so all isn't bad, just on the athletic front....
  5. They could easily go into district 0-5. At best 2-3 non-district and 3-2 in district. Something between 3-7 and 5-5 for the season....
  6. Yeah, that's the shyt talker in us. From what I saw and the schemes they're attempting to run, all I see them getting ready for is an ass whipping of Biblical proportions
  7. Very profound statement.......
  8. The only HS toward downtown is Lamar on Westheimer in the River Oaks area. SH was in the north side off I-45 on the right....
  9. HISD, God bless em, tries so hard to hold the 'Neighborhood school' concept but next on the chopping block may be Cashmere, Wheatley, JY, Austin, and Milby. Possibly Jones and Worthy. Declining ADMs and of course, my favorite, 'No Child left behind'.......
  10. In '83 we played the #2 Navasota Rattlers @Thorne. Their starting QB was out but the #2 were throwing deep bombs into our side of the field during warmups. I was like, we are about to get it handed to us. We won 33-0, Region 3 champs......
  11. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Port Lavaca Calhoun Sandcrabs raked in the top 10??? Now that's a program on the rise.....
  12. Those Geese and PAM have the same disease: The Spred O with a drugstore cottonball soft defense. Besides, no school has over 4000 students like NS......
  13. To replace players like #5 and #10 @DE is a tall order not to mention the leadership of players like Falgout et al. I like downhill running teams and out of that list, I know Ike use to run the bone and WF runs downhill. Katy will have to replace a 2K yard rusher who's playing for UCLA now but Katy will still play smashmouth so on paper, WB probably would go 0-3. Not to mention, WB's former DC works with me now(not in the same department) so WB has several holes to fill with a tough, tough schedule. 5afootball.com has WB going 6-4 so it's not just me....
  14. Glad you understand my last post. But I think the only team that will give NS fits on that schedule is Ike. LM has a new coach and has to replace the backfield. Same with Katy and SLC. Cy-Falls isn't ranked on 5Afootball.com's top 25 so if the new QB steps up, with 13 starters back, NS will be tough as usual.....
  15. I don't know about that bc I saw NS get wiped by Judson this last year and think that WB can play with them. You saw The Judson Rockets with serveral championships going back to the '80s beat NS and come the the grand conclusion based on this defeat, WB with 2 returners on defense can run with the Mustangs. Again, for those that don't pay attention, there is no finess on Wallisville and the Beltway, there's only downhill, smashmouth running with this bunch. NS will go 10-0 in this district until the next realignment.....
  16. Actually West Brook only has to replace 5 starters. Also the only WR that went both ways was Garrett, but Soph to be Keontay Batiste will fill that Safety spot quite nicely. The defense looked great to me. The front seven is fast and physical. The only problem is the technique of the corners. Both Safeties are ball hawks this year and hopefully they will help out on the deep ball. Da Sho is the team to beat in our district, but they will be in for a battle when the Bruins come to town. If WB had 2/3rds of the students like it use to, I'd give WB a puncher's chance. NS is on like a 60+ district game winning streak and I don't see it ending no time soon. The UIL is just replacing DP and LP with WB and PAM but with the same result(I don't count Pasadena ISD just like Goose Creek and C'view won't matter either)
  17. I don't know who's defense will be worse: PAM and their girlie 3-3-5 scheme or WB having to replace 9 starters with some of the WR's going both ways. Those grown men on Wallisville Rd. run out of the I with a TE who's a highly sought recruit. Power teams continue to be WB and especially PAM's Achilles heal.....
  18. I guess they in NF could medicate the kids like alot of kids are @BH to quell the violence you speak of since you want to cast a net and suggest they be called the Inmates. Those who live in class houses shouldn't throw stones but I guess @BH being a trash talker on the field/court when winning(I played against BH, OF, Huffman etc) isn't the same......
  19. Come on fella, if Obama does win(and don't turn this thread to a political one), there will be future educational buildings named after him. I'm surprised his name even came up. Nagin's not a bad guy and Barry, well all I can say is, even your current President did coke. Judge not less Ye be judged.... Enough of that. I've got 4 cousins who graduated from FB. Good luck to the Bulldogs of North Forest High....
  20. Damn, you merge an Eagle with a Jaguar and a Bulldog pops out lol. I hope and pray the Smiley football staff or at least their head coach is there. I hate to see them go the way of Wilmer-Hutchins ISD....
  21. Now that the thread has become more civil, here's some food for thought: What if he, the QB from WB, and others got in on the ground floor of something special such as being the first recruits @LU. Think about it, he could be the anchor of the first group of lineman to begin a new tradition @LU. Coach Juco better hit these area schools and I mean hit them hard and IMO, he could start with landing Huber......
  22. keep sittin on you big butt eating twinkies and get a life I have a life. You on the other hand can stand to get those Nederland Test-Tee-Cals out of your mouth.... very nice, you are all about class arn't you......... What you've failed to notice is that I, Mr. Mosley, et al are having an adult discussion about a certain Ned OLineman so if you want to be an adult and join the discussion, feel free. Otherwise, stay at the kid's table and learn how to spell the word aren't. A contraction of the words are not.....
  23. Don't get me wrong JM, going camping is the in thing now in being recruited for football and will be for the forseeable future. My whole thing with DJ was/is, his stock didn't shoot up on the internet until he changed his verbal from A&M to UT. Just me but those stars didn't popup by his name until he wanted to be a Longhorn but time will tell.

  25. It's obvious sfa85 doesn't agree with ya coop. Just an observation. I want to say the times when the defender was pinned to the ground, that may draw a holding flag from the refs but hey that's just me. Once the defender got into his chest, that may lead to a sack. Remember, he plays guard, not tackle. Maybe Nuemann the Great should move him to RT to protect his QB's back(he's a lefty right?) SFA85 he already plays right tackle at Nederland, not guard, he my even snap the shotgun a few times if needed. He will play some defense too this year. Didn't know he played RT. The article said he played guard...
