I want to give a big Shout Out to those Central Jags for pulling out a win w/o scrimmage. I want to send a 'hang in there' to those Pear Orchard Panthers and hopefully they'll get in the win column this week. Of course, I'm on strike against PAM until Xbox Kenny is ran off

what will it take to get Westbrook or memorial in the top 10? was dayton the last team in our area to make this list? looks like 2A is where southeast texas is the strongest in the rankings. why is this? Devine intervention @WB or PAM cracking the top 10

I don't know Bobo. I hate they day OU one the National Championship and held that camp which everybody and their momma went to see how the spread was run. It gives offensive minded coaches licence to try to use all that speed etc but the Spread had so many variables for it to work. Plus, if said coach isn't defensive minded or believes in toughness, then a talented bunch of kids who won on every level below high school turn into underachievers who still get the scholarships to college but don't have the wins nor traditions to show plus to leave something for the next groups to strive for. That's what's seperates the Katys, NS, and LaMarques from the PAM's.....

It's obvious to me Jeff should've ran something different besides the same thing they run @WB. I bet it was like WB's starting D practicing against the scout team. Tendencies all the same. Of course White going down didn't help. Yes Ozen has size on the Oline but I haven't seen an Ozen team yet that can block running the spread O with any consistancy. I'm going back to A. Lou and Brooks. Either break downs on the snap or they had slow feet to block rushers off the edge.... Man, listening to NS/Katy was like listening to a heavy weight fight. NS tried spreading Katy out but for the most part, both teams ran right @each other. The game came down to 1 too many fumbles and a kicking game mistake on the part of NS. I wish more coaches would realize old fashion football works and go back to more smash mouth and stop trying to be cute. Especially when you have size on the Oline....

No excuses. The spread just ain't for everybody. I know you WestEnders take great comfort of being Champs of Beaumont but like Lufkin showed you last week, when WB steps out of it's confort zone, the get it handed to them.....

I'm not doubting the Pack but NS won't shoot themselves in the foot after tonight. they better not, they know what happened last yr. LP was down and almost beat them. LP is back to state title contender status. it might just be the best game of the yr IMO. If I wasn't working days next weekend, I'd like to see Conroe McCollough(TWH) against Katy. Last year, the Highlanders took out 6 Tigers in a blowout....

I was called a fair weather fan in another thread but I swear on everything I own, I said the very same thing with 2 other co-workers plus some fans from Nederland about how PAM was just being silly during warmups and how poised PN-G were. And Coach F. used that as a motivational tool. HCheerleader Kenny should take note.....
