It's a game. They need to get over themselves. And on an X's and O's standpoint, Katy doesn't do gimicky offenses or defenses. They run out of the I and run a base 50 look. When they do lose, it's a team which has more athletes than they. Nothing wrong with that but Katy High is good for at least 4 rounds because of Old School football philosophy and execution....

Central's numbers may drop since Austin MS is now zone to WB since the recent bond just passed. If not, then Dr. Thomas can take a couple of streets and zone them to Ozen to keep Central in the local 4A district if this plan goes through....

Bringing Sissy Ball to the Res will make the big RB's PN-G's known for on the endangered species list. Probably make the defense soft as well.

I would say the small bracket is weak...... But we 'Haters' won't have to worry about PAM getting to the 3rd round if KRH is coaching because it won't happen. They'll celebrate finishing 4th and get beat by manly teams such as LaPorte. As long as NS is in the district, they will continue to get clock ran on them in the 2nd half. PAM will further errode into a substandard program but hey, KRH is a nice guy and good with the kids. What about the damn X's and O's???? Like I said before, if KRH gets the job, they'll be 10 parades---make that 12 because PN-G and Nederland will get all the news coverage and PAM will be relegated to box scores. No game previews, no nothing. I'm willing to bet Sabine Pass will make more playoffs appearences than PAM.....

Tech is just cheerleading for a person who only called 2 plays all year long with the title of offensive coordinator to get the PAM job. Give me a person who can win for 3 or 4 years vs. a 20 year loser like a Joe Washington who ended up 250-250. If KRH is hired, they'll be 10 parades in his honor starting on Calder Ave........

Well I think the Spread O is personnel driven vs. just plug and play. You either have to have a slew of RB's coming through or a wave of QB's and WR's plus the Oline has to be stellar year in and out.

I can vouch for EC's identity. He's no Stump but more like a tree Stump lol..... ;D ;D

I bet this list has more star power than the PAM list.....

I can say Stump does switch to the Triple I formation inside the 10. Unlike a certain school on Jefferson Drive that will remain nameless....

Okay board nerds and football fanatics. Knowing what you do about the Spread vs. other traditional offenses, plus knowing what's coming down the pipe as far as talent goes, would you run the spread or something else?

No. I don't know who WB has behind all that talent that's leaving. That's what comes with the Spread. It's more personel oriented than other traditional offenses..... BTW I-Warrior, I was just playing.....

I hear ya. You have a love jones with Stump and that's understandable. If PN-G would've made the switch and commited fully to Sissy Ball 8 years ago then maybe. But adjustments have been made. Not as potent as it once was 3 years ago. Katy and Westfield, North Shore, Trinity, et al, still line up in the I formation and play lights out defense. All of the Clear Creek ISD schools are running Wish/Flex bone. Just something for PN-G fans to ponder wanting to hitch their wagon to Stump....

True. Nos 5 and 10 from the '07 season were unblockable but WB was weak @the LB's and Secondary. Again, Stump brings his brand of Sissy Ball to the Res, patience will have to be the virtue of the day....

Ah young Grasshopper you have a point but: If Ned didn't have Grogan, their running game would be as weak as it was last year. Plus, they're right side was stout with 53 and 54@guard and tackle. If PN-G has those type players coming up, more power to them. You know my motto: A soft O makes a Soft D. As good as WB's been of late, the defense was always a weak spot......
