1.
lol :) .kicker your young kicker look good friday cant wait to see him  on FG. by the way kicker , what have you got his range down to now
Surely you are posting this in jest?!
 2. Gosh, I hope they play it again.  It would be a shame not to.  All the greats were on there talking about teamwork, lifelong friendships, discipline, and the camaraderie of football and the impact it had/has on their lives.  Joe Namath, Nick Saban, Tony Dungee, Troy Aikman, all spoke of their high school football days.  I especially liked what Tony Dungee had to say about the game that he remembers the most in his life.  I have not googled it yet to see when it will show again but am hoping they have enough positive feedback to air it out many times.
 3. Excellent!!!!  Hope they replay it time and again!
 4. I wouldn't EVEN want to get started on penalties!!!!
 5. WOS has a lot of young players, too.  Two sophomore linebackers started the game.  We have room for improvement (especially on the kickoff team) but I saw a tremendous improvement from the scrimmage at Dayton to tonight's game.  Ned will be fine.  They have some good players as well.
 6.
The defense in Nederland has not dropped down as you may think, their time on the field has...don't care how good your defense is if you 3 and out enough and keep your defense out on the field 60 to 70 percent of a ballgame, they won't be the same defense after half time as they were at the beginning of the game...the spread has did just that to our defense..check the stats gents that if just a fact.
VERY true, Knoddy!

According to your fan base, you're sooooooooo  good you don't need to prepare, your team can take the field and just react and you'll still beat over 90% of your foes by 3 - 4 TD's.  ;)
According to one, that theory only applies on a dry field. ;) ;D
Why do YOU always have to intervene, too, AAW?  Just curious.  I don't know if you think you are funny or what?  It gets old, man.  Just sayin'

 9.
First off, I'd like to know where Scout got his info. I personally spoke to D's dad Saturday night and they weren't going to the Dr til today. As a matter of fact, they are at the Dr as I type.  Sounds like someone is full of @$^%&(&*&^% and is starting a rumor. It is true, D has a sprained MCL, but it sounds like the decision to play won't be made till game time. Now let's give it a rest til we learn what the Dr. recommends.
No need to get offended Cool.  I'm sure the rumor was to throw WOS off and maybe hope that they would prepare for a different qb and not the starter.  There is a tendency to jump to conclusions on these boards because one cannot judge the tone of a post simply by reading the words.
 10. Sounds like someone put it in the drinking water!  Maybe the kids didn't know they were getting those 'roids!
 11. Paul went to Middle Tennessee.  He is now a youth minister up there.  He is still revered in the program and kids strive to be like him!

Still just don't like to see it miscalled. That win would have made it four years in a row.  ;)
Oh baddog... selective memory. Even if the bad call wasn't made you still lose the game...
On the 10 or 12 and driving.....I loved our chances. Yes we lost, Gas, how is that selective? I had bad seats and it happened to be in range of my yard line. Had it been a lateral, I'd be the first to say they made the right call. Besides, I'm not the one who brought this up. Hopefully we can get you in some punting situations.  :D
By selective, I mean you say it like if it wouldn't have been a TD for us it would have been one for you... LOL. You still had a lot of work left to do had that call never been made. ;D
Gas, I only know how Joe Ramoin played late in games. He was a bruiser, ask Vidor. He got us down there and we were driving. I have no hard feeelings about it anymore, but when someone brings it up, I will remind them. Good luck Friday.
We had Paul Thomas (he WAS the one who picked up the fumble and ran it back for a TD).  We also had Ledet, Hope, Thibodeaux.   (Wow, a LOT of great ones on that 2000 team who went on to play in college.)  I agree with Gas.  Even if they called it back, Ned doesn't get in the endzone.  A field goal wouldn't have won it.  However, we'll never know because the heads-up play by Paul Thomas didn't get called back.
 13. Skipper:  At Dayton, we had NO running game and NO passing game!  LOL.  Dayton IS very good.  Maybe we had the jitters that night, maybe Dayton just completely threw us out of whack, or whatever, but the good scrimmage against Vidor will give us the boost we need to pull it all together and give Ned a good game.

 15.
Dont make excuses wos played to win. Their qb played the whole game our qb played 1 series in the third, took out the starting running back and by the 4th quarter most starters were out.
I'm pretty sure I saw #8 in there as QB quite a bit for WOS in the second half.  But, hey, that's no excuse.  Dayton "won" the scrimmage, if you are wanting to mark it down in your books....
 16. WOS has MUCH work to do!  I've NEVER seen us look THAT bad!
 17.
LCM's varsity has more kids than it has in a while; last year they had 12 seniors this year's team looks close to 20...Coach Crouch has done a good job both in keeping the multi-sport boys in football, as well as winning some over some of the south Little Cypress kids from WO-S (WO-S is an open district, while LCM cuts off at about I-10.  Earl Thomas and James Haynes, for example, both lived in Little Cypress but went to WO-S in high school)
Earl Thomas lives in the WOS school district.  They lost their house in Ike and moved in with his grandfather.  LCM school district goes through parts of the Brownwood area, which enables some of those kids to play at LCM legally.  I can recall several players living in the WOS school district and attending and playing for either Bridge City or LCM.  Practice, off-season, and workouts are tough at WOS.  I will leave it at that.
 18.
Silsbee looked small, slow, and out of shape.  I think only 20 kids showed up. :o ;)
I saw them on the news last night.  Looked like more than 20 to me!!!  ;D

 20.
yeah I know his record 6-4 last year! Crosby and Eisenhower got alot better when he left town. that 145- and whatever bs you just threw at me, I aint buying. I know my football, I dont need a schooling. I also Know that District champions should have MUCH higher standards. Mine as well get Bob Jones he beat Hardin and Liberty!!! And yes he coached at aldine isd too!! Bottom line Spanky Broussard coming back to C-town. Write it down.
Why would they bring Spanky back when they got rid of him years ago?
 21. I took special note of this quote from the super at Cleveland...“He is seeking a district that will give him the opportunity to maximize his leadership and coaching skills to their fullest,” Cowart said. Does that mean that Cleveland will not allow a coach to maximize his leadership and coaching skills to their fullest? Good luck to Coach Tullos.
 22. Thanks, Coach!  It was great!  Am sending prayers of healing for your mom!
