1. We need to keep remembering to vote and get you back up there!!!
 2.
The shame of it all is that if the SCUMBAG THIEF actually did know Mr. Garretts' habits like he thinks, then it may very well turn out to be someone he knows and that makes him/her the worst kind of thief of all. This is a case where I'm all in favor of some kind of enhanced punishment.
well said!  I bet someone thought he had "extra" money in the house or something.  The guy that broke into the locker rooms at least felt remorse and turned himself in.  (Hopefully he also turned himself around).  This person, whoever it may be, is the bottom of the barrel and if he knew RG Sr's habits, there won't be any remorse, 'cept when somebody finds him!
 3. Voted again and also noticed that you moved up!  Good luck!
 4. I still think they have talent but seem to not have as much direction this year, for whatever reason.  I'm sure they will get it back together soon.
 5.
the reason why all the cops were on the west orange stark side was becouse the chife of police got a call from someone saying that all the mustangs  were going to bring guns and bombs to the game LMAO
I hope this is one of your joke posts, skipper and no one really called the chief of police to say that.  We have WOPD at all of our home games but I've never seen any of them with binoculars looking into the stands.  I've also never seen any of them arrest someone for being upset with the refs.  If that were possible, I'd have been hauled off several times, along with a whole bunch of other people.  We've gotten more than our share of bad calls this year, it seems.  That being said, it was disturbing, to say the least, to see one of our fans being escorted out of the stadium.  I saw it but had no clue what was going on.  What a weird, weird year this has been.
 6. The garbage statement is way out of line and totally inappropriate.  I watched the game and saw kids on both sides fighting hard to win the game.  One side came up short but does not mean that they are not good and certainly does not mean they are garbage.  The only garbage around here is your post!
 7. Hope you move up fast!  Whoever posted the link, thanks.
 8.

wos by 28...
OF stuck with yall by 7 until the 4th quarter (by what i read idk how far in) i believe BC is a better team than OF this season, to say WOS will win by 28 is dreaming and wishing apon a shooting star...
Wow!  Looks like venom hit it on the nose!
lol.......they would come unglued.  Oh how the excuses would flow......the ref's caused it, the ball didn't have the proper air in it, the moon was out of alignment, you name it.
Funny, that's the kind of crap we hear from BC every year!
No message here.  Just thought I'd repost and revel in victory a little before we get ready for the Tigers.
 10.

Yeah see what happens this year bleed orange. Wos has no discipline yeah they beat us bad but y'all will never win it all cause there no discipline.
What?
I wanted to ask the same thing!  How in the world can you say WOS has no discipline?  That is their foundation!
 11. Who is the head chair this year in 204A?  I'm sure they will convene the other committee members and investigate and report back in due time.
 12.
W, LC-M does not become open campus until January.
I believe that is a moot point.  LCM has opened their enrollment to anyone from any district.  Doesn't matter where you live, if you want to go to LCM you can.  And if a kid played at WOS last year, the proper documents were signed by all coaches involved.  I hate that someone is starting something like this.

Thanks Txdragon.  It's my bad, then on thinking it was already open.  Someone else mentioned on here that with the open enrollment policies being adopted by schools, what is the UIL going to do about that.  That is a legitimate question for sure.  Someone also asked about KFDM reporting this information.  Friedman reported that a copy of the letter was sent to them as well, thus the reason they are reporting on it.  It's not like they reported on a rumor of a letter floating around.  Since there are those reading the UIL rules, maybe they could look up the 15-day rule when a player moves into a new district and hasn't left for athletic reasons.  (All paperwork has been signed by both coaches).  I think there is a rule out there but I am pretty vague on my memory with it.
 13. Coach Foreman has been transferred to the new medical center in mid county.  He is in ICU and is on blood thinners.  We wish him a speedy recovery.
 14.

The sad thing is that the coaches know the rules and decide to risk getting caught knowing what it will coat the entire team if they do. No player no matter how good is worth destroying all of these young men's hard work and efforts. May be it will turn out to be untrue. Best of luck to all of the LCM team hope it turns out ok for you. Your whole team has shown a lot of class and sportsmanship this season.
Well, let's let all of the facts get out before pointing fingers here.  We don't know if the player is indeed ineligible, that is being investigated.  If he is, let's not automatically assume the level of knowledge that anyone on the coaching staff had.
Thanks, Grad.  If anyone knows Coach Crouch, they know he is without a doubt on top of things and as honest as they come.  No way he would do ANYTHING to risk any kind of violation.

 16. I hope the QB for OF recovers quickly.  He is one heck of a football player!!!!  I had problems all night long seeing where the ball went.  I have never seen a QB who could hide and/or fake the ball so well.  Good luck on the rest of the season, 'Cats.
 17.

wow, i opened up a topic that seems i should have left closed, lol. but yet after everything i read i keep getting even more curious. what school brought forward the complaint? and if the student had the passing grade and a natural disaster prevented the teacher from proving it before the deadline, why wouldn't the UIL over rule it?
I think it best that the reporting school only be known to those who remember it and as to your second question, many have been waiting almost 20 years for the answer to that question.
well said, WOSgrad.  If I might add though, I would like to say that apparently there was a TEA rule that an "I" should have been used to designate an incomplete grade.  Many WOS teachers, along with a host of other schools across the state, were completely unaware of the rule and continued to use a zero and when the student made up the work, the teacher changed it from a zero to the averaged grade that included the make-up work.  The class in question regarding the ineligible player was chemistry.  The coaching staff had nothing whatsoever to do with the grade change nor did they even know anything about it until the district executive committee showed up at the school to "investigate".  It was most distressing that the school that withheld the information was also the district chair that year, which meant they were leading the investigation and allegations of "cheating" on the part of WOS were strewn throughout the district, when it was proven and stated publicly that there was no intent to deceive or to gain an unfair advantage by the oversight. ( Alot of people were completely misinformed about the situation and were flat-out told that WOS was cheating.)  I am glad those who were involved are all gone with the wind now.  It makes for a much more pleasant community.
 18. The UIL didn't rule that it was not a passing grade, they ruled that it did not get into the computer system in time.  The kid was allowed to keep his passing grade, from what I understood, along with the other 10 kids who were given the same opportunity to make up the grade.  That's what never made sense.  He got to keep the passing grade but was still declared ineligible by the DEC.  UIL refused to overturn the DEC.
 19.
WOS vs CalAllen in the Astrodome, I think the yr was 2002 Lumberton and Lamarque was pretty good too in 2007
It was WOS vs Calallen in 2000.  I don't think they played in 02.  00 was the last year WOS went to the final state playoff game.  It was a very good game.
 20. I mean this as no disrespect, because he HAS done a great job at K'ville, but I can't help but think of Billy Bob Thornton when I see Coach Alvarez! ;D
 21. Somebody above asked about pre-game ticket sales.  It is my understanding that our district voted not to sell tickets for out of town games, thus when we play at home, the only tickets available before the game are for the home side.
 22. He also got into the scrimmage with Dayton and in my opinion, did well!!!
