Looks like it will be swap in the first round of the playoffs this year. With Colmesniel taking on Sabine Pass and West Sabine taking on Big Sandy. Gonna be fun.

1. Broadus
2. West Sabine

You have brookeland at 7-6 before a result from the Zavalla game is posted on the schedule site, yet, you have them at 7-6 on the standings post.
Makes a difference for the playoffs. If they were indeed 7-6 a win against Zavalla on Monday would have tied them with Colmesniel. if they were 6-7 Colmesniel would have already locked up the number three spot. -
You blame a 10 run defeat on the umps. Same umps for both teams.

If he is swinging at the pitch or not. Also if his hand is in the strike zone it is a dead ball strike.

Most districts have a plan to work it out. I know that in a local 1A district 4 teams tied for the district title, they did a 4 team tournament to decide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and the team that was left out. I think they flipped to see would play who in round one.
Not sure if it would be the same type of thing in baseball or not. I know that a 1A district last year had two teams tied for 2nd. They had a playoff game to decide the 2nd and 3rd seeds for the playoffs. -

Details would be great. He became the head football coach and AD I believe during my junior or senior year. He really turned around a football program that had not done much damage before his arrival. Never hear much about him, but I would have thought moving to the district AD position would have been a natural progression for him. -
Assistant coaches are not supposed to argue in HS ball. Umpires don't have to give them much of a rope before they hang themselves. The head coach is supposed to do the arguing.

There is not a lot of 6-man around here, so they would almost have to be with Chester. You have Apple Springs, Oakwood...not sure who else, but that district has a lot of long drives.

Not sure exa,ctly when they would have had the chance to do it. They actually begged off of a 4th game in the Jasper tournament. Plus playing in Vidor and hosting their own. Not sure how that would have worked.

Grad's scores may be correct, but like the thread tittle says, Spurger won both, not Leggett.
I found it hard to believe that Leggett swept the DH, so I did a little research. -

score surprised me as well. You knew they would lose at some point in district, but I did not see a game getting this far out of hand.

They actually played two games. Not sure of the score. I guess it was to save on travel later in the season.

Not downing Chester at all...know they are in a rebuilding year this year...but when was the last time Chireno had a competitive team? Baseball must not be a big priority up that way.

I would be surprised if it is completed. The game went regulation length. 4.5 innings with the home team ahead is a complete game. I don't think the district can have a rule that goes against NFHS rules.

Two different schools, two different districts, two different classifications.
