1. Warner is a beast, 10 ks and and set up the winning run with a double after a questionable call on what should have been a home run.  Also great job by Crain, very composed player for a freshman.
 2. Orangefield beats Coldsprings 3-2 great pitching from Quinton Evans 7 innings 3 hits 3 k's.  Austin Scales led the way at the plate with a double and single. Do not know the name of Coldsprings pitcher but he pitched a great game also 7 innings 3 hits 4 k's.  The difference in the game was the Bobcats using the sacrifice to get runs in.
 3. Pretty ugly out there for the Bobcats today, Buna was knocking the ball around pretty good.  There was no announcer at game and I appoligize for only having Buna players numbers: Buna #3    2 singles #9    3 singles #15  1 single #13  2 doubles #12  1 single #10  1 home run Bobcats Scales  1 single Evans    1 single Best      2 singles James    1 double
 4.
OF/Central score?
16-2 Orangefield lots of hits from Bobcats today highlighted by a 3 run homer by Weston Crain.
 5.
I will get as good a ruling as I can on this subject. I know it has been talked about the last couple of years. It is a shame that sportsmanship by fans has come to this.
Its just students doing it, they started during football season and I guess it is carrying over to baseball.  I sure wish the umps would just tell them to hit the road.
 6. At the game monday a group of students were blowing the stupid soccer horns when the opposing pitcher was pitching.  The ump made them stop during the actual pitch, but they would blow them the rest of the time.  It seems like last year I read a post about UIL rules on this, but could not find anything on it.
 7.
Swan did Ok, had some control problems like everyone else. Fults gave up the slam to Zoch but had a DP ball kicked previous to the slam. Imo..Carline looked the best for LCM, Lemoine with 4 walks himself shined for BC. Brandon Humphrey LCM was the hitting star and Scott Vaughn LCM had the best defensive play along with 3 hits. Zach Smith BC plays well at SS along with Dishon in CF. Thanks admin, we dont get to see the LCM kids much since they got to highschool.  Hope they all have a great year.
 8. Lefty throwing 91 huh? Don't see that a lot in highschool. What is his full name and where has he decided to play college?
Funny perfect game has a  Colby Jenkins  from silsbee throwing 83 as of October 2010 and 82 as of June 2010.  Wow so you are saying he gained 7 mph in 4 months  :o.
My son was one of the catcher's at the Lamar camp during Christmas break, he stood behind the radar gun and said Jenkins's fast ball was reading 88-90.  I do not know him personally but everyone I have heard speak of him speaks very highly.
 9.
The race will be for third BC and WOS will be one and two.
After seeing Silsbee's pitchers at Lamars camp I have to change my pridiction to say Silsbee will challenge BC for the top spot, and I think the loss of Droullard will push WOS down to 3rd.
 10. [Hidden Content] Picture 107 is Quinton Evans making the interception to seal the game.  Great season Cats.
 11. I don't think it was a big mistake. Coach Stump is a good man and good coach. He has done a great job at Bridge City. I only posted what I did because Coach Huck has gotten some greif from some of the Orangefield parents. He does not deserve that. There is a bigger picture here. Turning young boys into young men and I think both of these men are doing just that. I applaud both schools in making the right choice in hiring the right coach for both schools.  I hope both administrations stand by these two coaches and not bow down to the parents.
From a very few parents, for the most part all of us could not be happier with the job he has done.  He lays the rules out and expects his players to abide by them and does not play favorites.  He has turned our football program around as far as I am concerned and has raised the standards for all our teams.

 18. but if they do the work, then they will rise to the top. They will be one of the 11. If not join the BAND and root and wish.
Sorry to post off subject but I have heard this statement all my life and it only works for kids with the athletic ability to be a starter.  If every thing is equal of course the person who puts in the work is going to come out on top, but things are usually not equal.  In most positions on a football team natural athletic ability will win out over hard work without the athletic ability.  Hard work will put you on the team, but not necessary make you one of the starters.
