I refuse to support dayton in any way, except (gulp) I hope they win.  I think El Campo is legit; its about time you had some competition.  Its been pretty much a cush schedule so far.

After seeing what Merka did last night, he would get my vote.  He took the game over in the second half.  If he wasn't there, would Crosby be district champs?  I don't think so.  Good point Cougtalk about turnovers,  Merka don't turn it over.  That has to count for something.

Thats funny, but true. Merka will play and Crosby should have their full defense back. They rested some to recover from nics and dings.

The goal is to make it to the playoffs; once you get there who knows what happens. Heck of a run for Dayton the past few years. One thing for sure, whoever plays, its gonna be fun.

Would've been interesting to see how many points GCM would have given up to the same 2 teams. My guess is probably about the same.

Hats off to the coaching staff and to the players. Coaches had them prepared and the players performed. The Crosby Cougars motto this year is "MAAB, Men All About Business". If you look at statistical leaders you won't find any Crosby players; the teams is balanced and doesn't rely on 1, 2 or 3 players to dominate a game. Actual score should have been 35-0 except for the "inadvertent whistle" on the interception from the official on the other side of the field. Was that official from Dayton? I digress, but a few of the fans would've like Flanigan to run up the score. He didn't and that shows the class he has and he professes that his players have the same class. I wonder if the roles were reversed if Stewart would have taken the knee? We'll never know. Good job Cougars!

Who was #21 for GCM? Very quick through the hole and ran hard, but he needs to learn sportsmanship and controlling his temper. Gave a cheap shot to a DB in the back after the DB threw him down on a block. Also wouldn't shake hands after the game. What a jerk.

Worst facility in the area; I wonder who the brain child was that puts the home team in the sun and I'm not talking just about baseball, the football field is the same way?????? Anyway, if you have good grass, a pitchers mound and 4 bases you're playing baseball and thats a good thing. It's also the only place where it's free to watch a game!

True, Crosby loses a good receiver, but I was always concerned with his work ethic. He can be better than he has been.

2 weeks ago I would have went Crosby but now I pick the geese in a squeaker I really thought Crosby was one of the top two teams we played in the first round. Something has gone drastically awry. Don't think you can run through this district on three arms or the same guys not performing at the plate. The season showed promise, but you should stick a fork in them.
