I would think that we all know the "we beat team A by X points and you beat them by Y points" is about as inexact of a science as there is.  Each year people bring this to the table and it is not a very accurate measuring stick.  One thing to consider when calculating your complex formulas is that WOS played Jasper 4 games into the season.  Then Navasota plays them in the playoffs with a seasons worth of games under their belt.  For reference please see Coldspring Vs La Marque Round 1, early in the season and CS wins.  Then the playoffs roll around and La Marque wins.

[/quote] Wimberly did win state that year and they made a track meet out of our defense.  I don't think we had a large talent advantage because their RBs ran up and down on us.  I thought we could control the run but they ran on us.  The only reason for them winning the game is that they were better.  Our OC can only get us so far but as someone else said, they are the only team to put up 50+ on WOS.  Giddings game....I agree.  The Gilmer game...well.....well.......

Well Mr. Garrity is 0-3 on his "big game" Mustang predictions.  However, I hope his final prediction does come to pass.  Good luck to Silsbee going forward!!  Great game!!

I wouldn't be so bold to predict a shutout.  That is being a bit disrespectful to a very good Silsbee offense.  I think/hope we do win, but it will be a good game.

Wow, that is crazy the '09 game did that much damage.  I remember it looking rough at the end of the game.  It is ashame too, because it is a very nice stadium.

OK....nevermind....this is going nowhere.  Just that you are predicting WOS to lose 3 times (every decent opponent) and but win state.  I remember an old girlfriend telling me I couldnt have my cake and eat it too......seems that the saying fits.

We can all have our predictions/opinions......that is the message board purpose.  Just seems you are HOPING for WOS to lose rather than make sound judgment.

I am all over the fact that WOS [b]CAN[/b] win state....but you are claiming to be Nostradamus with your predictions and "told you so's".  I am just saying that you have twice predicted us to lose and have been wrong.  Then you claim to say you predicted us to win state (without myself looking up that prediction) and the next chance you get predict us to lose.
