Y’all said the same thing when Covid happened. “It wasn’t Trump’s fault. The people around him failed on purpose to try and destroy his presidency. “ He’s a con man. A master marketer, and he commands an allegiance from MAGA that is baffling. Debt is exploded, we’re in wars, economy is crap. “Art of the Deal. Trump’s playing 4d chess.” No, MAGA is brainwashed and it’s honestly pitiful.

It’s marketing. Slap his name on something and the morons will line up to buy it. That’s the genius. People will overlook the failures and defend him to the end.

So far (11 games), it's been pretty simple. Astros offense (MLB leading) has won them 6 games. Astros pitching and defense has lost them 5 games. Houston leads MLB in just about every offensive category. Houston pitching is 28th (out of 30) in MLB. An ERA right at 6 (5.75) Personally, I am willing to have the offense drop a bit if it means our pitching can get to around 4 in ERA.

The inning from hell wins most games. Hindsight….maybe should have left Bolton in. It doesn’t matter now. Long season.

Costs are much more after 15 years. Pointless? Opinions have no cost. Not one peep 15 years ago and it accomplished nothing. Lybia was no eminent threat. It contributed to the Benghazi situation, which we never avenged due to incompetence. Again, not a peep. In fact, dems sided with incompetence. Call it a but but all you want. Pointing how people try to force their opinions of what is right or wrong upon others, while flip flopping their outrage at almost identical situations, proves to me they have no conviction……just their hatred for one man. Hypothesis: Leave Iran alone, keep shipping them money on the promise that they stop enriching their uranium to weapons grade. It was already enriched past the commercial stage. (Fact). Their proxies, the 3 H’s….Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis, keep lobbing missiles at will without consequences. Finally, Iran develops the nuclear warhead and the means to deliver it. Are they going to put it in a silo for defense? No, they will erase the dreaded Jews from the face of the planet. No doubt in my mind. What then? WWlll. The Jews would nuke Iran, which would then get Russia and China involved, which would eventually hit us. Then would we scream, “Why didn’t Trump prevent this when he could have?”. That’s if we are still here to complain.

They’ll be an extension for talks but who’s he talking to if all the leaders have been killed. Just another line in the sand. Like I said I believe he was talked into this with some no so good intel to destroy his presidency. I mean they’ve tried everything else.

Dying Sport? Baseball is exploding in numbers on the youth levels from 6u to 18u in select & a few local Little Leagues had record number sign ups the last couple years. High school & college level is far from a dying sport. The coverage on setx sports is dying because less & less people care to put the time in to post baseball things.

What do yall make of his latest threats to Iran? That their civilization will end tonight? Is he going to drop a nuke? Is it more hot air? He’s kinda painted himself into a corner with anyone who isn’t wearing a red ball cap. Economy is a the edge of a cliff, we’ve dumped a few hundred billion into pointless attack on Iran, and our credibility on a global stage is destroyed because Trump is a buffoon with a smart phone and a global audience. It’s refreshing to see some republicans finally starting to find their voices. It gives me hope.

No, Trump understands marketing. He’s failed a lot as a businessman. The only thing that kept him relevant was his ability to market himself. 10 years ago Trump told us he was going to erase the debt… which was 19 trillion at the time. It’s past 39 trillion now. He markets himself by offering tax cuts, while believing that his boldness and willingness to “go big or go home” guarantee that he can’t lose-except he does. A lot. Everything that they own is mortgaged to the gills. It just doesn’t work on a federal level. He’s a semi-successful hotel developer who thinks he’s smarter than everyone, and since our military is at his disposal, he can do whatever he wants. Nobody can argue that we’re in a better place now than we were when Biden was in office.

The root of almost all of Trump's moves and decisions are financial/business related, even this war. He absolutely knows business. I'm not sure if he's prepared for the evils of a holy war.

We literally funded the making of the Covid 19 virus that caused death and destruction of the world economy at the tune of about 60 trillion dollars or more. Smh What exactly are we trying to win in Iran? They’ve been around like 5000 years do you think they are just going to capitulate? This is a religious war in their minds. If Trump follows through tonight they said they would bomb neighboring energy facilities in neighboring countries and bring the global economy to a halt which could be for years. What then? I still believe Trump got talked into this instead of using his instincts like he always does. He’s usually spot on with his instincts.

I'll at least give us 3 wins that's it and only because the jv was somewhat competitive last season and some of those guys will be on varsity this season.

For an actual war update, I hope we don’t hit their power plants and bridges. I do care about the Iranian people, no matter what some may think or say. This would make it more difficult on the people. I pray we reach a deal and get the strait opened to full capacity.
