He passed a $4 trillion infrastructure package that made Schumer give a golf salute when he signed it. Can anyone tell me where that money was spent? Supposed to increase wireless coverage in out-of-the-way places. I can’t even get great coverage if I drive outside the city. Where are all the charging stations? Supposed to build thousands and they built 8. How about bridge repairs? No one complains and the BBB cult is satisfied. Spent hundreds of billions of dollars on Ukraine. No one on the left complained. It made them feel good to help the most corrupt country in the world. Simply amazing I will forever be indebted to Donald Trump, if for no other reason, he kept Kamala Harris from destroying this country. Best case IMO is 5-5 and finishing 2nd in the district. Worst case is 2-8 and finishing 4th. They're a playoff team because of how weak the district is beyond PNG. In my best case scenario they find a way to pick up a non-district win (super tough start to the season) and then only lose to PNG in district. In my worst case scenario they go 0-4 pre-district, which is a real possibility, and then get beat by Texas City, PNG, and Dayton in district.

Just spoke with an High Island school official. HI will be playing in TCAL for all their athletics. Doesn't mean that some of their athletic teams will not play UIL teams in non-district because they will play some of those schools. Just won't be participating in any districts in UIL athletics. High Island will have a varsity football team this coming season unlike last year. Will remain a 6 man football team.

I can agree with that last statement. I have stated that the coaches and local DEC's have to do better. The problem with DISD is they have become a "you watch my back and I'll watch yours" district.

I'm pretty confident the schools in South Oak Cliff's district would be perfectly okay forgoing the marginal players that transfer into their school if it meant they could keep their most talented players that they no doubt lose to schools like SOC. It's far more likely, at least in the case of SOC, that Dallas ISD pressures the other coaches in the district to allow it to happen.

I think if you had true football capitalism it would not go the way you think it would go lol The process is imperfect because its based on human judgement which is imperfect and thats not taking into account the process where humans willfully aren't honest on the forms....BUT based on the rules today that opens the door for circumvention of the rules in place. If I were in charge I'd try to get rid of judgment as much as possible and make it black and white...no more transferring for athletic purposes questions on the form..its residency and residency alone...BUT I'd have more robust compliance arm of the UIL to check into residency questions and not leave that to the schools... The only question is..where do I come up with the money to pay the salaries of this compliance arm

For POTUS, I’d consider a Mike Lee (Utah), or even Rand Paul. I’ve already mentioned I’d easily vote for a Rubio/Paul ticket. A Rubio/Lee or Vance/Lee/Paul ticket would be fine as well. Really, any combination of those four would be okay with me. There are many conservative libertarians serving under the Republican banner for electability reasons. Many are members of the Freedom Caucus. I’ve voted quite frequently for Libertarian candidates for local, State, and judicial races. They appear down here regularly. [Hidden Content]
