It's my understanding that Woodville checked the box for athletic purposes and the DEC for 18-6A has not met to decide on the eligibility. Barbers Hill was waiting on the PAPF to be sent from Woodville. But that was a month ago.

Sounds like someone wants some cheese with their whine! Graduated from EC many years ago, and when you have a school that is all around strong in everything from athletics to UIL to FFA, etc. the school sales itself. Why would people not want their kids go to a school that is as well balanced and competitive in every aspect of school life.

Any updates? Inquiring minds want to know! DEC meeting scheduled (is any District challenging the move for athletic purposes)? What did Woodville do with the PAPF? Is Babin good to go eligibility wise?

The last time I attended a game at EC in person the Rice Festival was going on in "downtown" Winnie, and at halftime the band marched in the dark with flashlights taped to their legs. That's all I remember. But Ima definitely attend at least 1 game this season just to see their new QB play.

Pretty easy when you get transfers every year. Great coach but let's be real. Qb goes to PAM, transfer feom Canada. QB comes back, but bc Babin goes to BH, the lefty from BH transfers to EC. For once id like to play EC with the same players they have in jr high.
