Has Silsbee ever had a district Championship?

Didn’t see any signs of dementia last night, guess we can put that lie to bed.

Some local talent playing on big stages last night. Ayden Sunday(Nederland) gets his first collegiate hit for Lamar as well as Ethan Ocegurea(Bridge City) gets a little time out of the bullpen. Lamar falls to Texas A&M 25-5. Brady Corcoran(Nederland) gets the SAVE for McNeese State as they beat #1/#2 LSU 7-6 in Alex Box Stadium.

If they played in the same district as the football team does, that would be a very different story lol

Absolutely no reason for Yates and Silsbee to go to College Station to play their game. Silsbee will not want to play Thursday as well.

Bigger Schools I would agree but good luck getting quality coaches to take a pay cut and go to Hemphill.

Picking BTW to win by double digits, the fast pace, subs, 3pt shooters and players that can finish at the rim for BTW will be too much for BC.

Walnut Grove was a well coached team. They gave Lufkin everything they had. I figured this would be a hard fought game. Lufkin doesn't really face any competition in district. Have won it 5 years straight. It's one of the reason the none district schedule was so hard this year. The team cruises through none district. Blowing teams out by 20 points. Then has to adjust back to playing better competition. Winning in the playoffs has been the Achilles hill for the program. I think they will be ok after tonight. At least I hope so. Lol
