  2. RJ. Williams had two great TD's last night. πŸ…πŸˆ
  3. Well. District starts next week. How we feeling about it? Im still going with Vidor winning lcm lumberton then im going to say liberty or huffman is taking fourth.. dont see BC making playoffs after these last 2 weeks
  4. What I saw was a New Caney team that made plays when it counted and United didn’t and I have no skin in the fight simple as that.
  5. First time listening to the guys that provide the audio broadcast. The play by play guy is really quite good. The color guy you can tell is HF through and through and that is fine. I hope they are good friends that gripe at each other, because it is very entertaining to listen to them as they "argue" over jersey numbers. I can just imagine the ride home as they accuse each other of being old and unable to see. My money on being right more often is on the play by play guy.
  6. The o-line standing straight up is something I’m glad someone else noticed. Their technique is just bad. The o-line teaching has regressed.
  7. Chris Marshall just had the catch of the day in CFB. Wow!

  9. Well, it'd be easy to say that the 3rd quarter is PNG's nemesis so far this season, we've been outscored by a total of 68-14 per MaxPrep box scores. But the truth is that we're a smaller team all-around, and just a good team this year, and struggling to be any more than that. It'll make for an interesting district race. Always a good competitor, but last night we were over matched, unlike any game I've seen since the SOC game in '24. When and if we clean up some mistakes, and the o-line develops, then we'll be better. There was one play where it looked like our whole o-line just stood straight up, and a defender came straight through to tackle the QB, like a play you'd see at the peewee level. The D-lineman that played against the Brenham left tackle (6' -7", ~275 or so) did the best he could I guess, but the D-line as a whole really struggled more than any game I've seen so far this year. Will they bounce back and make it a race in district? We'll see.

  14. We need all the help we can afford, literally. WPS!
  15. This thread aged like 1000 year old milk.
  16. #26 had an 81 yard TD run for Silsbee's first score and then had a 25 yard TD run in 3rd Q. Was told the young man had around 150 yards rushing.
  17. A little factoid no one talks about. Nothing but coaching complaints but the results show somthing else
  18. I'm so excited to see us get beat by UGA today by about 50+pts πŸ™ƒ WPS!
  19. Running clock in the regular season. Running clock in the playoffs is just bad. I remember the days when we played the whole second half of games with a running clock.
  20. Silsbee played very good last night as well. Id like to see that kid #26 i think who ran for like a 20 yard TD carry the ball more. Any stats from last night for #1 Williams for Silsbee. That was a heck of a catch on that 47 yard TD. Great pass from Mathews.
  21. I tend to agree with the better team statement but still doesn't change that United led by 11 with less than 7 minutes left in game and had every opportunity to put the game away late but didn't. At that point in the game it was United's game to win or lose.
  22. Houston and Arlington are tied but Astros have tiebreaker. 8 games remaining. Magic number remains 7. Houston definitely needs a win this weekend vs. Atlanta and then hopefully go at least 4-2 in final 6 on the road.
  23. Im seeing a lot of BU gave this game away but its the other way around in my opinion. Yes BU had several drops and should've punted at the end of the game but NC had several drops (one in the end zone) and 4 turnovers. NC fumbled the ball on 1st and goal on the 2 yard line in the first half. In my opinion NC almost gave the game away. BU was exactly what they've showed on film. Weak on offense and average on defense. NC lost to a very good Montgomery team by 1 on a last second field goal. They were in a 3 point game against Cy-Falls in the 4th quarter until the NC sophomore QB went down and lost to Sterling in the final seconds last week. NC has yet to put together a clean game. I think the better team won last night.
  24. Lmao 🀣 Think we up to 11 running clocks in 3 seasons including playoffs. @Austin1985 will have to check.
