Personally just don't see the benefit of teams playing all star teams. Particularly out of state all star teams. It's almost a case of apples and oranges. I wouldn't send any Texas team to play those guys. Kind of pointless.

Being that I was no more than 20-25 feet from the incident, I can say with 100% accuracy that the Mustang player did do something very bad. Well after the play he throat punched an offensive lineman for Newton so bad the lineman went down to his knees. Everyone on the sidelines, including two game officials saw it. The player that was ejected for Newton was retaliating from what he saw happen to his teammate. Both deservedly were ejected.

I think North Shore is who you would choose if you had to select a team any given year. I still think STA would win 7/10 but North Shore is coached so well that they would probably have the best shot to mitigate the up and down talent cycles. For as good as our high school teams are it’s tough to compete against squads that can start a 3⭐️ at every position on the field

Mustang kid allegedly did something very bad as well. Idk how this sport continues with society going down faster than a crashing plane

Man, they have great “football” playing numbers though. I really don’t know why they’re not Dickinson-level? Watching most of the 6A top 10 extended highlights I’m not sure North Shore and CE King aren’t the best two teams in the state

La Porte started out 0-3 in 2024. Wound up in the Regional Finals without playing a single home game all year.

They have to throw the ball !! For whatever reason the OC chooses not to. The have a good wr group.that should give nederland problems if they throw the ball.if w.o throw the ball early and often things could get out of hand for nederland.
