  2. These two teams ran more of another controlled session than live I’d say… Both teams started on their own 30. Bellville scored twice. Once on a sustained drive and punched it in from 6 yards out.. The other was a 45 yard run. Bellville 2nd team offense scored a couple times. Needville didn’t score with their first or second teams. Offensively I was happy for Bellville… gotta polish some things as far as snap timing but you can tell a difference in the offense as far as the style of the Slot T. Defensively this will be the weakest Bellville has been on the defensive line in a good bit, but to counter maybe the best secondary we have had since the state run a few years ago. Plenty of things to build on and everyone came out healthy which is what you wanna see from your first scrimmage.
  3. Follow up article that shows how many students/families have either returned their vouchers, or didn’t enroll in a school in time to use it, so it will go to someone else on the wait list. [Hidden Content]
  4. Talked to a coworker whose son plays and she said HF beat up on Huffman pretty good, but I don't have any details on how it went down other than she said "HF made it into the endzone 7 times and Huffman maybe twice". Not sure how it went during the controlled or live portions of the scrimmage, or how accurate her report is, but she mostly knows what's going on. Watching Broussard in practice this year, he's getting scary good.
  5. Katy/Cy Fair ISD Tournament A&M Consolidated 2 Bellville 1 (25-15,23-25,25-15) Houston Memorial 2 Bellville 0 (25-17,25-16) Bellville 2 Cy Springs 0 (25-15,25-19)
  6. And you're basing all that off of what?!?!... Last season? You do know that previous seasons have no bearing on the current season, right? Injuries, grades, etc. can affect a season. Prime example BC. Are they going to be as good without their star player... doubtful.
  7. I don’t know the policy. You’d have to call the number on the video.

  12. There are no winners in a scrimmage. It’s ludicrous to think otherwise. The rules are different and what could be a touchdown in a game is a whistled dead call in a scrimmage. A scrimmage is a practice against another team and try to work out any issues that it exposes. I suppose that when the team practices on Tuesday afternoon, you would ssy that they won practice! 🤣🤣🤣
  13. Interesting info
  14. Nederland RBs ran hard! Also Nederland DLine was dominant, BC never got comfortable offensively, couldn’t protect the QB. Work to be done!
  15. Again -- facts are a stubborn thing!
  16. Nederland bested Bridge City 3 td’s to 0. Defense looked good. Offense wasn’t too bad. The RB Ned ran pretty good. There was another RB that did pretty good. The QB situation needs work.
  17. It’s all good. I think and from what I heard, the transfer from png will get the nod. The soph will get some plays but those will be obvious qb run plays snh.
  18. I liked what I saw from the png transfer. Kid throws a nice ball! Not very mobile, but with a couple of other surprise transfers, they should make it 3-4 rd deep. And no I dont count the first rd.
  19. When one team scores more times than the other. Yall kill me with there’s no winners in a scrimmage. If that’s case, don’t call a td a td in scrimmage. Or crossing the goaline don’t mean anything smh
  20. Deweyville and Warren started sloppy. Overall Deweyville will have a stout defense if they stay healthy. The offense is a work in progress had a few explosive plays and a few missed opportunities. In live action Deweyville -1 Warren - 0 Take aways for both teams is about the same. Defense will be the strength of the team while the offense figures things out.
  21. We got rated a B-. First time that's ever happened as we have never went past a C.
  22. Not quire sure of your point. There’s no comparisons.
  23. It’s their Grand Opening but the crumbs are appreciated.
