Trump could’ve done literally nothing the last 2 years and republicans would still be in power. Amazing how badly he screwed this up. First term had him in consideration for greatest president of all time. Now he’s in the running for worst president of all time. Spanking is an understatement of what just happened.

If LWC was nicked up last week it sure didn't slow him down. The deciding TD in the last minute, he was moving amazingly fast. LWC himself is a good passer as he has shown a number of times. I found out that LWC is a cousin of Jacquizz Rodgers, another big star who helped Lamar Consolidated to a state championship a number of years ago and played in the NFL a number of years.

Vance won’t run because he knows he’s a weasel and aligned himself too closely with MAGA. Desantis is already working the PR circuit. He’d be decent. Rubio too, but wouldn’t be surprised if he took a break after this circus administration. Trump seemingly seems eager to work with democrats (how convenient), but whatever I’ll take it. MAGA is officially DEAD. If democrats drop the 10 genders nonsense then they should keep power in 2028. I really like hinojosa’s stances on public education reform. Predictions: I think Vance will not be running due to new born on the way, plus time is on his side. He's young and can wait until his kids are a little older. Plus, with Trump almost being the 5th US President assassinated, I don't blame him for wanting to see his kids grow up. Republicans/DOJ: Republicans could unite and get some things done before January, but I really doubt they do. The Farm Bill HR 7567 would be a good one to pass, but we will see. I don't see Congress getting anything done. I think the two significant investigations that will come to resolution: Comey will be indicted and Omar will be civilly proven to not be here legally and will be removed from Congress. The Omar investigation started under Obama, so hard to blame this one of Trump. Trump: Trump is going to be Trump, but one thing I think he truly cares about is his legacy. I think his goals will be to end the Iran war favorable to them not getting a nuke and will negotiate the ending of Ukraine war before he leaves office. Democrats: They won in the fashion they did because of the cost of groceries, fuel and the too aggressive ICE deportations. I honestly don't think a significant number of people would care about the Iran war if it didn't hit them in the pocketbook. Democrats should work on bills that will help lower the price on fuel and groceries, and most importantly get interest rates down so housing market gets hot. There are lots of people (me) waiting for rates before they upgrade. .....If they did that and put us in a good spot before 2028, they could possibly get the WH in 2028. What I think is going to happen in a attempted Hegseth impeachment, a lot of noise around a Trump impeachment, and investigation payback.......I think they are going to try and take out Trump and everyone close to him (like 2016) under the cover of oversight...... Democrats will love it, Republicans and Independents will see it for what it is, and we will have a Republican President in 2028. Thoughts?

Will do and he's put in a lot of work over the summer. His older brother plays FS at Texas Tech and helps keeps him focused. My main thing is just have fun and keep your grades up and it will take care of itself.

You’ll have to keep us updated on him. I don’t keep up much with the underclass teams because they change so much. But, I do like to hear about how certain young men are doing, and I look for scores when people ask. Sometimes, it’s hard to find info unless you know someone.

It was rough. Even lost a couple kids on varsity who are back now. The Freshmen A team only had about 25 kids before grades came out. Then after the JV lost most of the roster they just took half the Freshmen A team and moved them up and combined the two Freshmen teams. So the JV started winning and then the Freshmen started to lose.

Yes the stadium is beautiful. Best one I've been to this season. LaPorte has something to be proud of. My son had a pretty good game. He got an Interception, caught a couple of passes and had a couple of really nice returns. He was one of the A team kids they kept down. I've been calling it the B+ team lol but they lost 12 kids to JV and 1 to varsity after grades. In 2 years when paired with the current 10th graders they're going to be a problem. The young QB we got has a chance to be special. He's going to need to have a big game tonight for us to have a shot. Ill be back down tonight to enjoy the stadium.

I think your confused with the first PI which was a good call but the end of the game PI was a terrible call. We have our difference of opinion and that’s fine. No. I think he only has about 1600 if I remember right. He has the current record of almost 2200 he set last year. He is on pace for over 8,000 career if he continues at the current pace or a little over the rest of this year and next.

My goodness. I didn’t realize grades hit them that hard. It hit the freshmen and JV volleyball teams too. Ask me how I know lol Lufkin has to do better than that.

As for the game tonight. Lufkin will have to be flawless to win. I think they're capable but the offense will have to be rolling and maybe get a little help from LaPorte.

What happened was after grades came out the JV was left with 10 kids. So they took majority of the Freshmen A team and moved them up. Smiley went straight to varsity and Taylor went to varsity and then back to JV.
