Down to 5 Senior starters total now between O & D. Unreal! Lost the whole right side of the OL early in the first game. Now, we’ve lost the rest. Reynolds (TE) is the only original starter left.

Their coach definitely schedules to their favor, credit to him. Especially when you start the year 0-3 in the Distict of Doom.

Although these things are still true as you stated I still have them going in 4th in district.

This was the Kountze varsity team right? I would have thought the score would be reversed.

This is the first game I’ve noticed the D actually run more blitzes. I wonder if coaches were concerned about the secondary, and wanting to get fundamentals and experience with the young guys before leaving them a little exposed from blitzing? Either way, they played a lot better when it counted. Still need to improve. But, I’m happier with the progress they’re making.

This. I said the same thing to some coaches in the press box. You punt and pin them deep and make them drive the entire length of field with just 1 timeout. I also didn't like calling the blitz on a 4th and 19.

Decided to attend this one. Was happy with the offense overall especially since OlDawg informed all were backups. I am relieved that TE is getting involved in the passing game. Defensively, I'd like to see the DB's be more aggressive at the LOS. I dont like the scheme where they play 10 yds off the wr and giving them the ability to run their routes without resistance. They still get beat over the top so why not jam them at the LOS. Anyway a nice team win. Go LP!

Well is the bald almighty a great coach or just a motivational speaker. I expect they turn it around. Lcm has decent coaches thats the only reason they're heads are above water right now.

This was a good win to get for LP. Right now, they’re the walking wounded. But, the backups are picking up the challenge and playing well. Lost our last starting OL tonight & one of only 6 senior starters total. LP is officially now an almost exclusive underclassmen squad with only 5 starting Seniors between the O, D & ST.

A lot of people on here underestimate how important the offensive line is. From what I’ve seen, they are struggling to run the ball and find time to throw the ball. When they do get the ball off, there are a lot of drops by the receivers. I hope BC can get something going next week when district starts.

I was at the first game of the season. We struggled to run the ball. We had WR’s dropping passes left and right. We had HORRIBLE offensive play calling. And we had a personnel issue at RB (the best RB on the team does not start and is not placed in the game u less its special teams or every 10th offensive play). Here we are in our 3rd game AND following a bye week. And guess what? We are having the exact SAME issues. I truly cannot see ANYTHING that we’ve improved on. And I’m not confident at all if we’ll improve this season. We’re NOT beating PA, LaPorte, Lufkin, or GC. You watch. We will probably Struggle to beat Ball and Sterling….

Shepherd was okay last year and somehow got hyped up because they beat five 3A squads, Tarkington, and jasper. Then they lost a lot of key players. They’ve played awful teams this year to start 3-0, and I guess an 0-3 Madisonville was all it took to expose them.

Congratulations Dogs. That win last week gave the team a lot confidence.

I could tell this was a good one especially them being rivals.

Trinity was leading 35-28 and had stopped NW in the red zone inside 2 minutes. Trinity could have just taken a knee, but fumbled it back to NW. NW took advantage with a TD and 2 point conversion. Trinity tried a 38 yard FG on the last play but it hit the crossbar and bounced back. Good game.
