My personal weekly rankings after Week 4: PAM LP Lufkin GCM PAM keeps rolling. They are pretty much what they are at this point. Defense and a strong run game. LP O is starting to gel. I don’t know of too many other 5A teams (or 6A for that matter) that can have an OL using all backups and still churn out 50+ ppg regardless of competition. The D is improving. But, still not to historical LP standards yet. Depth and offensive balance is a team strength. Lufkin’s D is still their strength, and the O is improving each game. GCM is still—IMHO—the best shot for the final PO spot at this time. They can be very explosive, and have a very experienced squad full of seniors who should be able to bounce back after a loss. But, New Caney may get a boost from their big OT win, and fuel them for success. It will be interesting to see how they progress after their emotional win. It’s still very early in district play, and much can change week-to-week with the teams being so closely matched. But, the top 3 seem to be separating themselves a little from the rest of the pack at this point. Curious what others think. What are y’all’s Weekly Snapshot Rankings?

If we don't get a win tomorrow, we may have to go at least 5-1 on the road in final 6 games.

What did we win?

Not going to lie.. forgot livingston was in our district😂 I think vidor goes undefeated through district. In my opinion i think vidor is going to keep improving on an already impressive last 2 weeks. LCM and Vidor have recently been dog fights in a china closet, so if vidor gets through that game with a win i firmly believe theyll run the table. LCM and lumberton will determine second and third Huffman and livingston will determine fourth depending on who they beat. I just cant get behind the BC will turn it around train as of yet, they just lost to much, and theres nothing wrong with that. Just a rebuilding year after what they lost to Graduation. Regardless itll be interesting. Always going to be some upsets in district play. Injuries or lack thereof will play a roll also. Hurry up Friday!

Another FCS over FBS this week. Southland's Southeastern La beats ULM. It is past time for ULM to quit pretending to be an FBS school. They have the lowest football budget in the entire FBS. Will likely not drop, but would be a nice addition to the Southland, where they belong. That's 6 wins for the FCS this season.
