Shutting out Cita wasn't on anyone's bingo card I don't think. Big difference in the defenses they had seen before last night and it showed. Their defense looked good for a series or two. But then you could tell they started getting tired. Doesn't help a defense one bit when their offense can't move the ball consistently. On the North Shore side the defense is still clicking on all cylinders. The offense looked better last night than I think it has all season. Other than a couple high snaps they took pretty good care of the ball.

I would love to make it easy and have Houston win the last two to win the division but it's not necessary. Any combo of a Houston win and an Arlington loss would clinch the division for the Astros. But I would feel much better with them winning the last two then it would not matter what Arlington does.

I wouldn't say Breeden is THE QB. Mathews is definitely holding his own and likely will keep his starting position. I was told Breeden will be back in Week 8 or 9 at the earliest.
