3.
HD Senior LB/FB Colby Espree 5'10 200lbs has been looking good at practice. Espree will be a force on defense at linebacker and a power runner on offense. Also HD Senior TB/DB Tyler Redman along with HD Senior TB/DB Sean Burno have looked quick and sharp at practice. On the O-line Senior Bryce McClutsky 6'2 180lbs has made the move to quick tackle and will excel at pulling and trapping with his foot speed. HD's practices are fast pace and intense, Bobcats are looking good so far.
That's twice.  Its McClusky.
 4.
Not one player from HD but players from Hardin and West Hardin?  How do players get chosen for this thing?
Thomas Stanley from HD is on the West roster.  Players are nominated by their coaches.
 5. Jeremiah Moore Anahuac 49 pts 8/14 from 3 pt 9/13 from field 7/9 from FT 4 rebounds 1 assist 3 forced turnovers

 11. Old rice bird here.  Excited for the chance to see them play.  Dad coached there for 15 years.    Liltex, family making the trip.  I need somebody to bring some mikeskas.
 12. Texas special, from Gene Stallings.  We still practiced this in the 90's.  Was hard to get the ball to bounce right off the turf.
 13.
Even an old fool like me can find his way around. ;D :o ;D
Blow those helmets up so somebody that does not have their contacts in can see them.  LOL
 14.

If they dont cook more than last year, than you are not cooking nothing. I just hoope all your praise of the new coach is going to be good. Cause there is not alot there for him to build with UNLESS yall get in some new2 kids. Seen them last year and not very good. GOOD LUCK.
That is your opinion pal. Sorry we let you done killer. Can't be good every year.  ;D Guess your an expert on what we got here in talent. [glow=red,2,300]What a TARD! Not even good enough for the "RE" part! [/glow]Hope your little team is a success. lol. Love the H-D haters, they all can't help but watch us. lol  8)
Really, was the comment necessary?  Every year I have coached, I have had a kid with special needs on the team(one kid was at HD).  To make a joke in such a way is totally unwarranted and uncalled for.  I admit to using the word, but feel bad after saying it.  It is one of those things that I work on not saying.  The kids that I have had have a special place in my heart, because I learn more from them about people than the  "non" special needs people at times. But for you to make such a "joking" comment is totally insensitive.
 15.
Concussions in high school are a problem. This year all coaches have to go through a UIL concussion training course.   However, these former NFL players suing the league about concussions is BS!. You play a sport that basically requires you to bang your head against something repeatedly. What did they think was going to happen? I think the lawsuits will be settled out of court with the players getting better health benefits. Otherwise, the NFL will be sued out existence!
Here is a big point of contention.  With all of the new helmet technology out there and they (NFL players) still wear the old helmets.  If the NFL was serious, they would outlaw all old shells.  Concussion protocals and old helmets = speaking out of both sides of their mouth.  When the VSR-4, VSR-2, AF-2, WD-1 came out they were cutting edge technology.  But, there are better systems out there now.  The old revo helmet came out in 2002.  so there is no reason to have not upgraded. I was told from a industry member that Farves helmet was the original shell he started in the league with.  It was just repainted as he moved around.  Was that really safe.
 16.
I think a lot has to do with tackling form. As much as we love the big hit & what it can do physically as much as mentally.. if we see less kids try to get the big hit and wrap up, the defense would see less broken tackles and players would suffer less concussions. [glow=red,2,300](Not forgetting that head contact with the newer turf leads to more concussions than contact natural grass)[/glow]
Could you show me that study?  I have been on some grass fields that are harder than concrete.
