West Brook @ Deer Park

Recommended Posts

Like we stated last night on the show, this is a playoff game, winner will make playoffs, loser will miss the playoffs.

This will be a close game and a possible West Brook win if the Bruins can get their run game going and control the clock some keeping DP offense off the field.

Otherwise, I see it going to Deer Park at home, 35-28.

BWB won't have to worry too much about 3 or 4 different backs and styles. DP has a very talented RB, but thin after that at the position. BWB needs fan support big-time. BWB needs to stretch the field to have a chance. Quick scores. Use speed to get behind the D. I--personally--haven't seen DP yet this year. But, I'd expect them to win the majority of the time in line play from being at the BWB game last Sat. and knowing DP's tendencies and history. JMO

I will be speechless if Flanagan can't make the playoffs with Stump's players.
[/quote]Flannigan can make you look bad when he has elite talent, he's great at scheming up points when he has playmakers. However, when the talent levels are closer together (i.e. playoff time)some of his decision making can get questionable to put it nicely. I think his playoff record was something like 3-5 at Crosby which in turn earned him his job at West Brook.  Saying that though, I don't think Bruin fans will have to worry about his decision making in this one. 42-21 Deer Park. I think Deer Park and Memorial are the only teams in the district that can stay within 20 of North Shore. Maybe La Porte but they're too hit or miss.
