From 1-4, 17-4A is better than 20-4A!  We're about to prove it....  Overall 20-4A is better, but not the top 4.

Believe me, any knowledeable Vidor fan is taking Montgomery seriously and then some.  At this point you have to give all due respect to an upcoming opponent, especially one that seems to be as good as Montgomery.  I'm sure they'll be favored in this matchup.
That being said, the Pirates will show up and will give it their all for all four quarters.  Win or lose, an opponent will know they've been in a battle.

It is a huge deal for Vidor to be in the 2nd round of the playoffs.  That carries some momentum.  I don't think anyone is saying Montgomery will be an easy game for Vidor.  I don't know who this Mark Barnes guy is, but I'm hoping Crosby will let him borrow their crying towel after the game next week.

Which game this year, has Vidor been the favorite? Lumberton and Kville maybe, these boys have not been taken seriously yet, from what I can see. I have been following this senior class since Junior high and there has been something special about them, some folks don't admit it or accept it, until they've experienced it for themselves.

Montgomery had better strap up tight, because these pirates aren't very charitable on the field, the bears aren't getting any thing for free!!!

Go smash 'em in the mouth boys, leave it all out there!!!

for all you people who are rooting against vidor. we will see who comes out on top. im very proud of the boys for their win. that game was amazing along with their whole season. those boys play with so much heart and they have so much love and respect for each other and their coaches. even if they dont go all the way to state they have nothing to be ashamed of at all.

I know this is somewhat off topic but I assume someone on this thread will probably know the answer....Whatever happened to Dobbins?  Is he playing anywhere? He was a heck of back going all the way back to his peewee days....Anyone have any info?

Ok that would explain why I probably couldn't find any info on him...One of my sons played with and against him during their preteen years and I thought then that his combination of vision, speed, and balance was probably the best I'd ever seen (in person) for a kid that age....I figured his only problem would be his lack of size...

Sounds like the prep route was probably the best way to go...I have no doubt that he can play at a big time D1 school and put up some really good numbers...He only needs the opportunity...

Dedrick Linton will probable start with Jimmy Dominick and Jack Valentine getting some carries also. To my knowledge House is done for the year. Linton runs similar to House upright and breaks tackles but alittle faster and Dominick is very fast. Losing House hurt but these guys have filled in nicely at RB. Leroy Dobbins was in a class of his own and will be missed (he could take over a game on his own). You will see Dobbins playing D1 ball soon- too good of talent.  IMO
