Nederland vs. WOS Prediction...

I don't know how people can be on here predicting Ned so easily.  The past three years the scores have been 2008 WOS 33 - 13, 2009 WOS 41 - 21, and 2010 WOS 40 - 19.  What has changed???

What has changed? WOS running the I will take away some of their speed they have used to beat Nederland in years past. evens the playing field. Still say WO-S wins but it will be close. 20-17.

We've done that before, and it's not satisfying. In [glow=red,2,300]1988[/glow] and 1989,
we outplayed WO-S for 20 min and 39 min, only to lose both of those games. I'm not sure what you mean by winning the 1st half, but from my experience, that does no good.

Ya Bubba there was a skunk on the field, and it was also their Homecoming. They also turned off the lights for their half time routine. It was about a 30 minute delay to get them warmed up and back on for us to play. We were up 20-7 at half. The ball fell off the tee while kicking off the 2nd half, and hit one of our front guys in the back. They jumped on it and turned the momentum towards them. Final score was 40-20 or 41-20?
We led 36-35 the following year with :44 remaining. A 79 yard bomb left us stunned with :36 tics on the clock. WO-S won 42-36. BTW-That was the only pass completed by WO-S the entire game.
WO-S seemed to always find a way to beat us, but this yr does sound promising!

I just know the visitor's locker room was about 50 degrees at half time and we were in there for a long time. Good ole Danny boy would always pull something out of his bag of tricks.  ;D

Nederland YES is a very large team this year like some of the teams thay have had OVER THE YEARS. as for WO-S fair size also like over the past years thats not  new for the mustangs. ok now at game time the heat on the field should be around 117 are somewhere around there and let me tell some of you this its going to take it out of alot of kids early on both sides dont you thank

We were only in the district for 2 seasons once Central dropped. Both of those we were 8-2 and missed the playoffs both years due to tie breakers. We went 1-1 against Central during that span (we are 8-2 vs Central total).

That was the past three years. Key word the PAST! Kirbyville made it to the State Game the past Two years yet there chances on making it this year are very slim. You can't judge a game on what happened last year. Oh and your question on what has changed is only a few players to graduation and the offensive type and the head coach but not that much  ::)  ;D  :D

shouldnt you be worried about texas high and the donkey stomping bridge city will put on your pirates next week and less about the mustangs?

I'm not saying anything about my team. I'm saying something about a Nederland team. And i'm not worried about Texas high and BC. If we can hold yall to 3 points in the first half then i'm sure we'll do fine against BC. After all yall are the "favorites" right?  ::)  ;D

Fired up about tomorrow! Hopefully we play a good game.  Its been about 6yrs. since we had a really good football team. Maybe this team turns it around this year like the 1996-2001 teams. Good Luck Bulldogs!!! And just my opinion on WOS; I believe these guys no matter what class there in can compete. Even if they were 5A.

This one should be closer than last year but I think WOS takes this one by 6.  The QB out there at WOS is fast and hard to get to.  We were on him all night and couldnt rein him in.  Made some good strong throws also.  WOS have an electric running game when it gets on track.  The Mustangs in a close one.  Make some room in the stands for this Pirate fan out there Mustang fans.  I cant wait to see this one.
