You do realize Bertrand had more yards by himself than the entire BH team? Is that better PeppermintP?

I will definitely agree with that statement! I don't remember which game it was (either Livingston or Nederland) We put up over 500 yards and [b]LOST[/b]!!!

Correct, but stats are what we as fans have to at our disposal to gauge match-ups and team trends. We are not privy to game film so when we look at the opponent what else is there to look at?

I agree...  You just have to look at all the stats.  Both teams have been playing good lately, so it's an interesting match up.

Me neither!  I have a Indianette!  I hear there's something special planned for halftime!  She has no idea what it is...hopefully they find out today at practice!  I really want to wait and be surprised but the suspense is killing me!

Oh, I'd like to thank the BH fans for being concerned about the possibility of rain causing problems for us but it rained pretty good at practice yesterday and they didn't miss a beat...nice try though!  ::)

It is different under the lights with 10500 people watching you and the game on the line. nice try though :)

19-4A is a weak district outside of Dayton. Barbers Hill will field a respectable team but, if the two play good clean games BH will not beat PN-G.

Just for comparison 19-4A was 2-11 in non-district games against playoff qualifying teams with the two wins coming against an injured Nederland team and a very bad Houston Sharpstown team. 20-4A was 5-10 in non-district games against playoff qualifying teams with four of those losses coming to 5A schools.

Also. When 19-4A played 20-4A the average score was 29-14 in favor of 20-4A.

Fact is no team outside of Dayton would even make the playoffs in 20-4A.

two dogs... BrenhamFan has a problem with PNG. WhatHappened has posted enough stats on this thread to choke a horse and BrenhamFan didn't say a word. One post about Bertrand's stats and hear comes BrenhamFan. I don't know what the problem is, maybe we gave his precious cubbies too much of a scare last year. He was probably afraid he would have to eat his words...you know, the classy brenham fans singing "nah nah nah hey hey hey goodbye" to our team and fans before we scored to bring the game down to a 6 point deficit. My two new favorite High School teams...PNG and whoever is playing Brenham. Also, because the all-knowing BrenhamFan didn't agree with a couple of calls Coach Faircloth made, he thinks he is a "fluke". I would think a fan with such a great team would be more interested his his team than lurking around waiting to pounce on another team on a message board.

(must of them anyways) I don't point out things to jump on other teams, I'm a high school football fan and I do it in a joking manner or.  After all that's what threads are for.  Now, if you think i'm afraid to see Brenham meet up with PNG or anybody else, you're delusional.  Say were classless fans if that's how you see it, but many others would disagree with you.  I'm glad you remember that chant, cuz if we meet up in the 4th round you will probably be hearing it again.  BTW, it's to celebrate a win, not be nasty or disrespectful.  (kinda like cherokee) Win and you won't have to worry about it.  My comments about Faircloth were my opinion, and I shouldn't have expressed them the way I did, but I've already apologized for that.  Good luck in the playoffs, so we can see this rematch...  ;)

I don't speak for all PNG fans.  However, If PNG makes it to the 4th round to face Brenham I promise the results won't be the same as last year.  Brenham was lucky to make it out of that game with a win.  PNG was bringing it in the second half.  You Brenham fans need to be pulling for who ever PNG plays and make sure to say your prayers at night for the next few weeks.
