Which area high school players have a shot in this years draft?

Hester, throws hard from the left side..
after that, i dont think there's too much draft talent...

Saw Felts today for first time this year. Man, this young man has really developed physically and is just BASEBALL SMART. Hustles on and off the field. Really good team leader. He should have a good long career ahead of him. And yes there was a scout at the game.

James (Jameo) Tallon from The Woodlands has committed to Rice. He will never play college ball, big 6'7 lefty hitting 96mph, this kid is the REAL deal!! By far the best prospect in Southeast Texas. Not taking anything away from anyone, but this kid has scouts drooling.

You may be right, thought he was lefty. Either way, the kid has a tremendous future if he stays on track.

My only point is the kid will get a shot and he is the best in this area. Ok, he may play college ball, doubt it, but he might. He [b]will be[/b] drafted, probably top 3, but he could still maybe, possibly play college ball. Give the kid his props!!

He has all the "props". I was just saying that it's not a sure fire bet he will take the $$$$. Some kids are just "wired" differently. He will be the #1 or #2 pick without a doubt. Just not going to say that he will "never" play at Rice.

Not if he throws like he did against College Park.  ;) Seriously, he is the real deal. The Simms kid from College Park could be drafted.
Hester from Vidor could get drafted.

He may not be drafted.....it's all about signability these days.  ;)

There have been a number of kids drafted in our area right out of high school.I would like to know how many played a few years of minor league ball, then ended up at home going to college wishing they would have played college ball first.Now its too late!
