The only thing I fear about playing at the "Babe" is my car being broken into during the game.
Well stay your scarey butt at home.  It's a dang shame.  Your wife may have more courage than your chicken crap butt.

I'm tired of the stupid wise cracks.  I understand exactly what you are trying to say.  it's so amazing the ignorance of some people.  The thing about it is that We are surrounded by cowards like this and we may never know it.  Really silly post by and obviously coward.

Soulja, it is what it is and I agree it's wrong to assume and hopefully it will be a mute point. Not the best part of town but we all have our issue's.

By the way who is ya'lls #44, here he is the real deal and all ready committed D1 somewhere. I hear he's a good kid, good luck to him.
I'm not from that end of town.  I do know that there are rougher areas in Beamont than that.  But whatever.  I'm going to see some good football Friday.  So If you feel scared, go to church.  Or stay home.

#44 is Jacoby Hale and his have commited to Utah since last year.  He's the heart and soul of our defense.

Bmt  my windshield was smashed the last time i went to the babe. i should have said that first. i am  not scared of going there. I played on that field many times myself. I enjoy the atmosphere at central.  png and central have the best fan support at home. Can you tell me which players from central were on the 4 x 100 relay team last year. I remember watching them at the district meet and i thought all of them were football players

There should be no concern around the Babe this Friday night. Past history is past history. I have several employee's who live in that area and I go there all the time and have never had any problems. I have sat at a employee's home and ate BBQ and met alot of people who live in the area around the Babe. They are great people and I enjoyed my converstations with them all. Don't let what a few inmature people do keep you from going to a game. Just like at any game at any stadium there will be police to patrol. I hate to see people putting a negative on this thread about going into a certain area of Beaumont or possibly bringing in other reasons. My business is off of College street close to Lindberg. I have had numerous break ins there and its a decent area. Crime is Crime and it will happen anywere. Look at what has been happening in Nederland. They have had alot of vehicles broken into at their games and houses broken into while people are gone. If something is going to happen it will happen. I personally won't live my life in fear or worry about a vehicle. Its only a vehicle.(insurance) Go to the game and support your team with pride and be happy that you have lived another day to enjoy such a great experience of watching 2 of the best teams in Southeast Texas play football. I have said my peace on this. Go if you want or stay home. I'm pumped to go watch this game, and I be da@& if I will let a few bad seeds keep me away or intimidate me.

I'm curious if the coaches of both teams will pull their starters later in the game to hopefully avoid injuries. I know this game means alot to both teams but just wondering what others think about it. Oh and by the way GO INDIANS !!!!!
I asked that earlier in the thread.  Since it means so much for the kids, both teams may go all out for this one.. Unless it turns out ugly for one of the teams...
You know, I'd be one of a few to admit I'd prefer my Jags to be under the radar. But just looking at my avatar you know I'm a Jag. So, therefore my ID as to who I pull for is revealed. Why on earth would a true fan of any team in Texas hide his Identity unless he's a coward, or better yet a trouble maker. Just trying to stir things up. He's just trying to get under others on here's skin. ::)  ;D

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
