Coop, I was at a game in Deweyville several years ago and I am 6'-0" around 260 lbs and those kids from Hemphill walked by me and I had to look up to them. I ask one of them if they were not the Jets. BIG BOYS! :shock:

Yea lumbertons new helmets are pretty sweet .....yall should check out lumbertons new look, its not all red like it used to be. its a lot of columbia blue and white with red trim. its nice.

Lumberton colors are not Columbia blue though! They are Baby Blue and Silver with Red! I wish they would stick with one set of colors!!!!!!!!! They need to bring back the old Oiler colors.....

i like the wos uniforms they wore against wimberley with the solid blue jerseys and the solid blue pants i really like those especially with the silver helmets

Columbia blue is the official color of the Houston Oilers, Lumberton is going back to their original colors, what a concept.

I had a teacher in high school that was in the first graduating class from Lumberton and she said they voted on the school colors and it was supposed to be Royal Blue, Scarlet red, and Silver. She said there was an AD in the 80s that loved the Oilers and that led to the color change.
