I think every team is this district should sweep everyone in the first round.

You could be right. We'll all match up with district 9 in round 1. Here are the current standings there

t1 Athens 

t1 Canton

3 Madisonville

4 Van

Top 2 are both uundefeated and meet up in the last regular season game to decide the top seed. Canton has a win over d1 Caddo Mills and is averaging 55 ppg. But Athens has a slight advantage with overall strength of schedule. This looks like a good matchup in week 11. Maybe @Matthew328 will give us a better opinion of potential first round games.

Athens is a dangerous team, they were a regional finalist last year...they lost to Carthage twice and in the first meeting only lost by 5...Athens def has the stronger SoS with a win over Pine Tree on the resume and a win over a much improved Henderson bunch....I'd place them as a favorite over Canton and a favorite in Rd 1 over the 4 seed

I've actually seen Canton in person...their QB is a player, but my biggest concern aside from SoS is a lack of overall team speed, especially on defense....Madisonville is no pushover as a 3 seed either IMO

If the Shepherd district sweeps the West Columbia district like I think they will then I really think Madisonville will upset someone out of this district.

Maybe you're thinking last year. West Columbia is d1 with Sealy and Bay City
