Scored a total of 3 points on drives that started outside of the Buna 40 yard line. One of the OF tds was on defense. You’re fortunate your defense is good. EC is gonna run yall right out of Winnie next Friday. Quote

Almost as good as your evaluation of the BC/Orangefield game. edited: the only game that matters is the one BC gave to Orangefield Quote

There’s no bias in my statement. It’s a fact OF scored 3 points on drives that started outside of Buna’s 40 yd line. The Buna offense was really bad too before you try to take that and run with it. TXHORN_ET Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Sounds like OF took a page out of Steve Sarkisian’s playbook if only putting 3 points on the board on those drives. Quote
LoneStarAg226 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Cats have little to no identity on offense. They run the ball well and the zone read even better, but they go away from it too early in drives. Playcalling looks more like what the coaches want to do and what they want to see rather than what they CAN do. QB is inaccurate, throwing hospital balls and receivers are getting little separation but let's throw it anyways. I understand he's a 4yr starter and playing his heart out that's clear. They have a solid RB room between 10 and 21. QB runs the ball well with physicality and they have good athletic skill guys as well as QB2 who can fly on the option. I'd like to see some simplified creativity with jet sweeps, more motions, and just simply run the damn ball. The defense is really good as well as their kicking game in all phases (Kickoff, punt, field goal). It seems simple to rely on your run game with multiple guys that can produce, play physical bend but don't break defense, and a solid special teams' unit. Bobcats0809 1 Quote

We are definitely trying to be too cute & coaches definitely outsmarting themselves on offense, defense has been lights out. Offense has regressed since week 1, hopefully they can figure something out. LoneStarAg226 1 Quote
