FINAL — Beaumont United 62 at Lufkin 27 — Discussion

Last week and yesterday, I had a long rant about the things that BU couldn’t do well and haven’t improved on.

1. Can’t run the ball well.

2. WR dropping open passes

3. Sucky offensive playcalling

Well guess what?  They improved on all of the above.  I guess it’s better late than never.  Need to build on this.  So proud of the way our kids balled .  Those freshmen on the field didn’t go unnoticed.  Kids balled out.  Player(s) of the game goes to our QB Bronson as I’m sure he threw for 6 TD’s and close to 300 yards and our WR Fussilier which I’m sure he caught 6 catches for like 2 TD’s and over 150 yards passing.

I sure thought BU's QB had more yards than it says. Looked like they were completing everything. He doesn't look like a 'prototypical QB'. But man, he has an arm. He was firing off bullets.

Yep.  Perfect description.  I understand a little homer.  But he’s definitely over the top.
