Miscues put Texas in a hole, and that miscue killed it for OSU. The game winning drive showed determination by Texas. The OL ruled on that drive. Fantastic win and hopefully sets a tone for the whole season. BEARCPA 1 Quote
myrecordwashorrible Posted Sunday at 04:06 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:06 PM FCS schools have 1 more win against FBS schools after week 2 than all of last year. Schools in middle and low tier of the MAC and CUSA would possibly remain middle of the pack in the Big Sky and Missouri Valley. Quote

I know they replaced a bunch on defense but you know tOSU will always have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball. Giving them the ball inside the 20 to start the game, the fluke INT on the second possession on a very well thrown ball to one of the best handed receivers in the game, and the awful drop by Wingo on an easy TD…hard to overcome all that agaisnt a team like the Buckeyes. It also seems to me that Arch is at his best when they turn him loose and let him run around and make plays. I remember Mack being interviewed and saying he learned that early on with Vince, the best coaching with him was not to over coach him. I kinda feel like the same goes with Arch. baddog 1 Quote

I’ve read a lot of comments from OSU fans and they say it was a collapse on their team. Of course, had they pulled off the same comeback, it would be that they made perfect halftime adjustments. lol. When teams are evenly matched, the one who makes the least mistakes usually wins. Texas was the exception that day and never gave up where lots of teams would have folded. Lost of fans probably switched channels at halftime. After throwing up, I was able to continue watching. That Smith kid will go very high in the draft. VY was one of the most gifted athletes I have ever seen…..Bo Jackson being the best, with Deion Sanders in that mix. The Titans tried to make VY a pocket passer and that never worked, so Brown knew what he was doing. VY couldn’t handle the monetary success of the NFL and he lost it….very sad. I feel for Manning. People can be so cruel and blame him for being a product of a great bloodline. He doesn’t create the hype. That’s for the media and they completely run with it. I think this win gave Manning the needed shot in the arm. We’ll be ok. Quote
