Not sure where else would make sense to post this, but a Louisiana Board of Regents member has suggested that La. Tech, Monroe, and Lafayette study dropping back to the FCS. Will be interesting to follow as it appears to be more than just a statement and done with it. The money losses for each are staggering.

Quite sure none would want to leave their present conference, but might that be forced to do so if a drop does occur.  ???

That is lopsided. Lamar has only snapped the ball 18 times to 50 for Northwestern.  Lamar has a batting average (5 touchdowns for 18 "at bats")  .....uh scoring average I mean of .278. That's being efficient!  

It will be interesting to see how many years it takes Northwestern to rebound from the debacle of 2023.

Odd scheduling as East Texas A&M has played 4 games in conference, 6 teams have played 3, and LU and 2 others have played 2 games. 

LU (2-0,) and SFA (3-0) are the only 2 unbeaten in conference thus far. 

LU hosts UIW next week in the battle of red birds. UIW put a scare in SFA tonight and escaped with an overtime victory over HCU 2 weeks ago.

LU fans, we have a top 10 team!  

Cards are at #10 in the Coaches poll and #11 in Stats Perform. Up 3 spots in both.  

Presently projected as the 11 seed in the playoffs with SFA and SELA each in as well. I have seen this from a group named Opta Analyst for a few years. They have been fairly accurate with their final projection. 

Several weeks left, so we will see what changes.
