Newton Eagles football schedule update. 
game with Liberty-eylau is at Newton and Newton will be at Liberty-eylau the next year.

game with Franklin will be played at Henderson.

They play in Henderson most of the time they play each other I believe

Not saying you are lying, but how did the score end up being 2 TD's difference if that's the case?

Could be Newton scored 7 pt. or

 

8 pts, Then picked up a fumble or intersected  a pass and run it back for another score.

Newton scores then got the 2pt… Franklin next possession was a strip fumble returned for td to make it a 14 point game

Newton and Franklin had a great team that year !!  CC did as well ..  we beat Newton 26-20 that year, it was a war… 

Had it not been for that freakish of a team kirbyville … we’d have been playing muleshoe at state that year!   We gave them all they wanted tho… KTRE said whoever won , would go to state with no problems, and they did !  It was 7-3 at halftime..  but our RB went down in the 4th QT ..  and we didn’t have but a freshman to put in ..  just wasn’t meant to be .
