But maybe I should qualify my comment. I'm sure the guy isn't quote "stupid". Does he suffer from amathia? Maybe. Or maybe a quote from political consultant Taylor Budowich has something to do with it. “This isn’t some principled resignation — he just wanted to make a splash before getting canned."

He should have resigned in the way he served. With honor. The post of his resignation letter to X was not only uncalled for, it was detrimental to his brothers and sisters in harm's way. Whether we agree or not, they deserve our support. His action undermines that.
