My grandfather lived about 25 miles from a gas station out in the country, and he had a gravity fed big tank he would buy gas in bulk. I'm not sure how many gallons, but large enough a gas truck would come out and fill it.

The price of diesel is $6.53 today. There is a worldwide effort to sway the midterm elections to hobble President Trump.

Oil has gone down to $91 a barrel which doesn't translate into $6.53 a gallon. We are being gouged intentionally!

While I'm not sure if that is true - we can look at history.......

Historically when oil is $91 a barrel, Diesel has ranged from $3.70 to $4.10 / gallon

When Bush has the high gas prices, gas in this area was almost $4.00 per gal. and crude oil price was $140. So there’s that. My work was such that we kept an eye on crude oil prices.

Yes. But, the dollar has lost 47% of it's value since 2001 due to inflation. It now takes $1.89 to equal $1.00 adjusted for inflation. Johnson in 2016 was the last POTUS candidate that even mentioned trying to balance the budget. I voted for him. Only 3.3% of the rest of voters in America cared enough about the debt then to vote for someone that wanted to address the problem. It was the last time I voted.

I thought about that but didn’t do the math. If it makes any difference, it was closer to ‘07-‘08. I still thought there was quite a disparity.

A worldwide conspiracy? The simpler answer is that Trump started a baseless war that has totally disrupted the global petroleum markets. You can’t get this one off of him.

I agree Iran should not have nuclear weapon. However, google says the war has cost Americans 100 billion in additional fuel cost. 43 billion in military cost, not including residual costs. Not to mention the loss of military lives and munitions. Not to mention global cost for our international trade and other countries cost. Not to mention the increased cost of living just based on increased fuel cost. Not to mention the struggling truckers, farmers and other industries that rely on fuel. Not to mention the turmoil at the global passage of the Strait. AND we really have no clue how close we are to reducing their nuclear ability. AND still going with no end in sight.

Please don’t tell us you think this process is worth it.

We only know what they let us know.  As far as reducing their capacity - if we didn't destroy it, we sure made it difficult to get to it. Trump has said we are watching if they try to dig through it we will hit them again. 

As far as worth it, what is you answer if the do get a nuke and use it? They have shot missiles 2500 miles - In that vicinity there are 20-30 significant US facilities and approx. 40-50 thousand US personal.  What is the answer, wait and see? We can either be proactive or reactive......
