You don’t understand sarcasm?

Yes, but it’s hard to wade through all of the absurd comments on why Trump started this war and figure when someone is being sarcastic.

Prices will surely be down before midterm election.

Oh yea - It will be down.

Here is my way of thinking based on what I think I know about trump and humans in general.

1.  Trump does not like losing - so you know he is thinking about mid-terms

2.  No human would want to get impeached and go though everything he went through during impeachment.

3. He knows the Dems are going to attack him for everything he has done. They are already doing it, but not enough to hold any weight.

4. He is all about his legacy, he does not want to go down a lame duck.

Keep this post for reference - Once we take care of Iran, things will start falling......The jobs reports that came out today were AMAZING compared to what was predicted. I also predict 2 rate drops before mid-terms......and possibly tariff refund checks......I do believe that may still be in play

Don’t you think there would be fewer comments if his objectives were clearer and more consistent?

I think the market’s been too shaken to settle out that fast. I don’t know how much refining capacity has been knocked out, but it never falls as fast as it rises, 2020 excepted.

You under estimate the power of an election.

6 month bids are at $72. Not the lows. But, certainly not the highs. With current efficiencies, $70's are a good medium between costs for the consumer and margins available for maintenance by the refiners. People forget they have to have room for maintenance. Most of our refineries have been running 110% for a long time with only 'band-aid' fixes.

It's akin to running your car at max RPM's for 2-3 years, and never changing the oil. You know it's going down, and when it does, it will be for an extended time because the damage will be magnified.

It used to be break even was in the $80's. But, our efficiencies have drastically dropped the number.

*The 6 month bid number is global. The other numbers and comments are for the U.S.

No sir, not from the haters. Trump could say the war will be over @ 12:00 noon tomorrow. If it ended @ 12:01, you’d have the haters complaining that he said 12:00. No doubt in my mind.

TDS will never allow them to be satisfied!
