Like I said our government is so broken, maybe even beyond repair. The bureaucracy has swallowed our government to where nothing can ever get changed for it to become efficient.

I posted that video to show it’s not just ours. It’s all over. That was only a small snippet video. You should’ve seen the separate ones for England, France & Italy.

For Trump that was a solid speech.

I would have stayed positive and ignored and not called out the Democrats.

I, like everyone on this page, have never ran for President or been elected twice to become President.

So, maybe calling out the Democrats for sitting and not applauding for victims will help him at mid-terms.  He apparently knows what works.....

Smh. Trump is subhuman for placing illegal immigrants in Alligator Alcatraz without a trial

Then you must have considered Obama sub sub human.

From the article:

At an immigration conference today, Homan, under consideration for a new position of “border czar” in the Trump administration, grew visibly angry answering a question about “cages” often cited by Democratic critics of the president.

Homan, who ran Obama’s successful deportation operation, ripped Democrats who question Trump immigration officials on the Obama-era idea.

He cited one Democratic chairman who asked a Trump official, “You still keeping kids in cages?”

Homan, at the conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies, said, “I would answer the question, ‘The kids are being house in the same facility built under the Obama administration.’ If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015.”

No doubt great job at the border which I’ve given him credit but this is my opinion and it will show come the midterms if something doesn’t change.

I have no doubt the American people are dimwitted enough to vote to return to what we had a year ago because they hate Trump.

We live in an American Idol era, personality over policy.

Say what you will but this is ALL ON TRUMP IF HE BECOMES A LAME DUCK. All self inflicted.

I don’t think folks are as consumed with the Epstein files as you are, but it is certainly sad that we have so many folks that haven’t voted FOR something for so long, only voted against Trump.

But after reading posts from those very voters, it’s understandable.

Trump definitely has some self-inflicted wounds. But, I also think most people are way off on what a POTUS is actually supposed to have as a job function.

We’ve let the Imperial Presidency run amok for decades.

On one hand, I hear some say DOJ & Federal employees are supposed to be impartial. In the very next breath, they accuse those same employees of prosecuting political enemies, or not following a POTUS campaign message that he shouldn’t have promised anyway as he didn’t have the authority.

POTUS has some effect on the economy through policy. But, he/she doesn’t control the purse strings. Congress & Treasury control. Our Founders and the Constitution explicitly meant it to be that way.

There are many other things POTUS past and present have been doing that wasn’t supposed to be in their purview. These powers should be pulled back. I believe that’s what the current SCOTUS is doing slowly but surely.

That’s why my grade was only on powers and duties given to POTUS via the Constitution and other laws as expressly directed by Congress.

POTUS is supposed to be the caretaker. Not the whole enchilada. One of three.

According to ChatGPT, 80% of Presidents that have house and senate majority starting their second term have lost both House and Senate at midterms.

So, it will be the norm not just on Trump - but it will be ALL ON TRUMP if he DOES manage to hold House and Senate..... History has him a 20% chance of doing so and a 80% chance of not......

He did not receive bipartisan applause. He is financially benefiting from being President. Many of the things that he is doing is a conflict of interest. He is selling Bibles, cologne, and crypto currency. What was he trying to get people to invest in last night? Something that will eventually give people 100,000?

I will agree that he is not perfect, and there are things I don't like about him; however:

(1) do you like that drug trafficking is down?

(2) do you like that gas is around $2.25 per gallon for the first time since I can remember?

(3) do you like that you get a tax break on the premium portion of your OT? Do you like the cost of eggs, butter and other staples being cut by 1/3 or more?

(4) do you like inflation going from around 9% to around 3%?

(5) do you like that illegal border crossings are down like 236 gazillion percent? (Sorry, didn't know the actual stat, but this one is probably close)

(6) whether you like the man or not, do you like that he's not being led around by the Easter bunny, falling off a plane, falling off a bike, wandering off looking for someone to shake his hand, whispering incoherently into a microphone, hiding in a basement, calling men women, calling women men? ... I could literally come up with this crap all day.

Reply with any of these positives you like. If you don't reply, I will assume you like them all like I do.

Trump must have hit the SOTU out of the park!  I heard on talk radio that NBC, if I remember right, has stopped talking about it.  If it was a disaster it would be wall to wall condemnation.

History also showed in 2020 of the 19 counties that have predicted the president perfectly over the past 40 years, Trump won 18 of them by an avg. of 16 points. Biden won one by 3. Of the top 58 bellweathers since 2000, Trump won 51 by an average of 15 points, Biden won 7 by an average of 4 points.

So there’s that.
