Hamshire-Fannett scrimmage

Nederland will be hosting a scrimmage tomorrow night but I only have Silsbee's schedule of games:

4:45 Silsbee vs Orangefield (AUX gym)

5:45 Nederland vs Silsbee

He is still at Silsbee. He is at the scrimmage right now.

Not too bad for Silsbee considering they are missing 8-9 varsity players (4 starters) to football.

Pretty decent showing from OF, still missing the majority of their team as well

I think I just watched the second coming of Larry Bird that plays for Lufkin on a scrimmage from Saturday. I forgot the football and basketball districts are different for now. Lufkin handled Katy Seven Lakes, who is highly ranked in 6A. They scrimmaged for two quarters. The kids name is Austin Brown. He did not miss any shots. At least it seemed that way

He's headed to Maryland to play for the Terps I believe. He's legit!

Yes, we are missing 7, possibly 8 if there is anyway we can get Gonzo to play with us. He is our only true post and we'd love to have him.

That 8 that we are missing includes 3 starters, arguably 4 considering Jaxon Agerton.

2 out for disciplinary reasons (1 returns this week, the other in late Dec), 6 out for football.

Still had a good showing and should be a real fun year when the team is all together again!

Austin Brown been on everyone's radar for a few years now.

Started as a freshman for Lufkin. '6"7 wing who will be a serious match up problem.

I saw where West Fork went 3-0 in this scrimmage. Defeated WO-S, Hamshire-Fannett and PA Memorial.

Onalaska went 3-0 as well with wins over PA Memorial, LCM and Buna.

 

Anyone have any other results from this scrimmage?

Sorry I didn't watch any of the other games. West Fork looked really good in the two games we saw them play. Looking forward to playing them at the Tarkington tourney after Christmas.

Maryland is getting a steal. Once someone from the SEC or Big 12 decide to significantly up that NIL bag he may never leave the state
