Got confirmation that the district does use the point tie break system throughout and not just to break three way then head to head for the remaining two teams.

With that, United needs a Barbers Hill win to get in playoffs.

Current point totals for BH, BU and WB:

BH +18     beat United by 25 but district has an 18 point max

WB -7        lost to United by 7

BU -11      lost to BH by 25 (18 max), beat WB by 7

 

BU finishes at -11

The worst BH can finish is 0 (that's if WB beats them by 18 or more)

The best WB could finish is +11 (WB win by 18 or more)

West Brook needs to win by 12 or more to get #3 seed. A win by 11 or less and BH is the #3 seed and WB is #4 seed.

A win by BH and they are the #2 seed (based on their head to head win over Lufkin) and United is the #4 seed.

I remember them all. Lincoln IMO had the best collection of talent in the city.

I think they have the highest probability to make it to state out of everyone in 5AD1.

I agree. And that's what is somewhat scary. Now I'm like slow down, take it one game at time. They're about to go where no other PAM team has gone before.

Definitely don't want to overlook BHill, even if it's the second time around. It will be a crazy atmosphere with the game being played in Beaumont. Looking forward to it.

Well, if you think about it, PAM has already beat BH convincingly. I think the rematch will be closer but PAM will be favored. Smithson Valley is a solid team but PAM is explosive and has shown the ability to create mismatches. Now, when it comes to the state game, I think PAM is going to have their hands full with whoever they play. But that will be the case for the other team as well.

PAM has been here before. 2011 went 5 rd. Losing to Steele

Sorry, those guys are a year younger me and didn’t make the playoffs for Lincoln . Lincoln returned to the playoffs in 98 or 99 beating wos to get a spot. Pat year Lincoln was horrible! That year wos thumped us 84-0

Yes with Elandon, Terrance, Augustine, etc. We got out coached. Kenny Ray is making up for it at Summer Creek now doing a great job. It might be his year too!

I think fans of neither team are counting chickens. I already said I don’t like playing a team twice, especially if you win the first one. On paper, yes PAM is supposed to win. However as BH has proved, on paper don’t mean squat cause on paper BH shouldn’t even be playing us Saturday. That’s not a shot, just saying
