I think Hardin had us all worried there for a while looking at the score updates on this one.  And then they decided to wake up and pull away it appears in the second half.

There weren’t any penalties early. There was a stop on 4th down that cost Hardin. I’m sure the 88 yard TD drive Buna put together didn’t have anything to do with their good start. Yall have a great team over there in Hardin. They don’t need your excuses.

It wasn’t an excuse we got a holding penalty on the first drive, that held us up and a fumbled snap on the second drive how is that and excuse! Buna came out to play first few possessions.

Yes there was, and they ended up getting a 1st down anyway. The post said “a few penalties early.” There was one that was overcame by the Hardin offense. Doesn’t change the fact this was a one score game till the 4th qtr. Against a group of kids that most aren’t old enough to drive themselves to school yet. Maybe it wasn’t meant as an excuse, but it certainly sounded like it.

I think what some of these folks are saying is, they didn't play clean and still won by 24, with two lost fumbles and some miscues. 

It's not a knock on the kids from buna. Hell, it's a compliment I think, to say those buna cougars gave hardin all they wanted and some.  

one thing you could take away is, the closer to the style of play hardin does/is, the more difficult it is for hardin to be victorious by substantial margins, if that makes any sense at all.

Own up to what you said. Saying Hardin had a “hangover” is an excuse. Although you have none to make.
