School superintendent, illegal alien and likely felon, arrested by ICE.

Apparently the head of the largest school district in Iowa is an illegal alien who seems to have pending felony cases for firearms possession.

After a pursuit he was arrested and had a handgun in his vehicle which will likely be an additional felony firearms charge in addition to one earlier in 2020.

Do school districts not check on people applying to be the superintendent and going through the hiring process?

With a mention of school districts in the other thread, things that make you go hmmmmm…..

So many questions.  They require finger prints and a federal background check.  To work at the bank, I had to do that. I needed social security card, birth certificate and drivers license. How in the world did he pass that......

Apparently his doctorate from Morgan State University…. was never awarded.

So now the Des Moines school district was found to have a superintendent with a PhD, who had no PhD.

Let’s see, an illegal alien is found in possession of a firearm which is a felony, flees from the police and now appears to have falsified government documents by claiming a doctorate which he does not have.

I don’t typically bring up DEI but really? Did the school district not do any background on him? I guess he checked enough box to not need a background investigation.

With the background check performed on this guy, he could have been a convicted child molester and been hired. Already seeing sympathy for the illegal alien. When do we think about the kids? I mean, that’s what school is all about, isn’t it?
