Congrats to Babin on his decision. Didn't expect him to pull the trigger this early. Thought for sure he would have stayed in Texas if not LSU. Vandy must have really made an impression on him

I do not believe he had an offer from LSU or I imagine that would have been the choice over Vandy.

Didn't have an official offer but was being heavily recruited. Being he's still in the middle of his junior season I would think he'd probably get an offer in the near future. Had several offers from Texas schools also so I'm guessing Vandy made a good impression for him to make that decision this early

LSU had Peyton Houston commit to them 2 weeks ago. Most schools only take one high profile QB. Like half of the top 30 QBs for 2027 have already committed.

Baylor offered them both. Babin's the first 2027 commit for Vandy

The #1 QB in the nation from Westwood is still uncommitted. Be interesting to see where he lands.

Texas, Tech, and FSU are schools that appear to be in the mix. Maybe others.

Supposedly Texas is the front runner for him but that might change if he’s stuck on playing defense..don’t think Texas wants their qb1 playing defense.But who knows anymore

No, he is a two sport player. Currently holding basketball offers at Texas and the others in addition to football. Though he can definitely excel on defense as well.
