bullets13 Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Broussard with his first INT of the season. AC with a TD called back for holding next play. Horns secondary is actually in decent coverage, but these guys are just taller winning jump balls. Quote

bullets13 Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Make no mistake, AC is the better team tonight. Horns fighting hard, but Crawford has gone from a mediocre 4A school last year to looking like a solid 5A team this year. Which by size, they are now. Their defense gives up some points, but the offense is impressive. If they can clean up their penalties they have a chance to make a run. If the # I heard is right they’re close to 5A-D1 enrollment currently. Quote

bullets13 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Quick 3 and out for the horns. Then they pick one off, and yet another personal foul on AC. Horns take over on their own 25. Quote
bullets13 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago AC gets away with a pretty obvious PI on 3rd and long. Maybe he didn’t want to call it since they’ve already had about 6 15-yd penalties. After a crazy first half we’re almost to the end of the 3rd with the score still 34-21. HF made some good adjustments on D so far Quote

bullets13 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago HF outmatched in this one and it only got worse as they got worn down. Very impressed with Crawford tonight. That team is huge! This Crawford team would hang 60 on last year’s Crawford team. Unbelievable the difference a year made Quote

Maybe if one makes a deep run they’ll see something again like they saw tonight. I got to the game and saw AC warming up and immediately wanted to change my pickem, but it was too late. D1 QB, high end D1 WR, heck, they even have a D1 kicker. Wouldn’t be surprised if they have some D1 linemen before it’s all said and done as well. Quote

I think they'll wind up in 5A-D2 very similar trajectory to Iowa Colony.....Iowa Colony went 12-1 their second year as a 4A....Mosley didnt play against Bellville last week..he's a special talent bullets13 1 Quote
