Though Brookshire Royal isn’t great even though some picked them to win district this is a good win for Yates… This may be the year Yates gets that elusive playoff win!

Elusive playoff win “in recent years”. Keeping in mind that Yates had the single greatest team in Texas High School history.

I watched this game in its entirety last night and the Eagles had no answer for RB #7 Castlebury. He had well over 200 yards rushing and the Red Raiders passing game isn't bad either.  Look for this team to compete with Malakoff and Jefferson for the district title and possibly a deep run in the playoffs.

I saw a letterman jacket my freshman year @UTA which I saw 550-8 from said Dangerfield player.  We were on pace to play them at A&M but Sweeny decided they wanted to be sacrificed to the foosball gods instead of us(SFA).  Dangerfield 42 Sweeny 0

Understood. It is Yates w/5 NFL players. DF had the best “low” level team of all time.
