I am sure the WV folks are excited about the new season and the offensive improvement from last year. Keeping in mind that they could have beat Gunter last year with “better coaching” on offense. I imagine they will start "looking towards Newton" now that they scored a TD. Woodville 1st and second team offense moved the ball pretty consistently all during the scrimmage. Main concern is it looks like they don't have the defensive lineup figured out. First and second team defense was swapping out pretty rapidly so maybe they were evaluating and hopefully they have it figured out now. There were probably at least 2 DLine guys practicing with 2nd team that should have been with first team. I also think we need K. Rigsby playing a significant amount of snaps at OLB/MLB and D. Barlow playing around half the snaps at DT. Due to the situation with our defense I really thought Livingston should have scored more than that. They had 5 or 6 big plays scoring on 3 of them and didn't move the ball much other than that. Quote

Man, I remember hearing about Al, heard he was a beast. I played against his cousin Ted Bundy--think he was at Crawford, didn't stay long, heard he was running from the law. Wonder what happened to him. I heard Al also became a pee wee football coaching legend. Not sure. Quote

Would you say that they have a lack of depth on defense and skilled players (certainly compared to last season)? Due to the fact that there's several key positions that they're trying to fill and solidify, are they looking at growing pains until the experience of playing at the varsity level kicks in? Quote

There's less depth up front. Still got plenty skill players. Quote
