PBS shutting down in 8 weeks

At the end of September it looks like PBS will be shutting the doors and ending their broadcasting.

There are some good Cajun cooking shows I sometimes watch on our local PBS channel. They make me hungry.

No, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is shutting down. PBS and NPR will continue programming. Much of their funding is corporate. As usual, independents (KUHT) and rural areas will lose the most.
