I purchase mainly all diesel and it was cheaper early 2025 than now!

Revised Department of Labor numbers for May and June revised down by 250,000. July jobs? 73,000. Inflation ticked up to 2.6. It’s happening. The killer will be if inflation and unemployment rise together. Jobs falling while we tax ourselves on imports. Pop goes the Weasel.

If I recall stocks took a hit when Trump announced the tariffs....Then a few weeks later, he started breaking records.  In June, 2022 inflation hit 9.1%.......June 2025 was actually 2.7.

Hard to take you serious when you're sounding the alarm because of a "tick" up in inflation, after we have recovered from 9.1%

Ticks add up. Now Trump wants to fire the professional in charge of jobs data. That one always works. Don’t like the message, kill the messenger. Maybe he’ll hire Jesse Waters for that one.

This…. The wild deficit spending that Trump put in motion with reckless tax cuts and subsequent borrowing put inflation in motion.  It took months for it to take hold. And for what it’s worth, you can’t credit Biden for fixing it. It’s all about supply and demand. Globally. Presidents have nothing to do with it. Remember when COVID locked down? Demand went where? To the floor. Price went where? Same place. Wasn’t Trump. It was Economics 101. Global pandemics tend to shake things up. Politicians use the disruption to try and one up each other. As a society we tend to follow the personalities and ignore the details.  History repeats and repeats and repeats. Must take an asteroid to reset.
