Toughest Schedules 2025-2026

Now that we have access to the preseason rankings and we are trying to get through this last month or so before football gets going I wanted to open up this discussion … What team or teams in y’all’s opinions will run through a gauntlet this season based off their schedules and pre season rankings? What team in your opinion’s will have the toughest slate this year?

Bellville will have another tough slate this season IMO here are their opponents that are ranked heading into the season 

4A D1 #1 Celina (Defending State Champions)

4A D1 #19 Ft Bend Crawford 

3A D1 #1 Columbus (Defending State Champions)

3A D1 #9 Hitchcock 

4A D2 #5 Sealy

LV, BE, FBC all long road trips in consecutive weeks. The test is real and we'll see if we are up to the challenge. Then we get the district foes at home.

GCM would be my answer.  0-10 last year.  They share a District with North Shore, Atascocita, Summer Creek, C.E. King, Humble, Kingwood, and then Channelview on the bottom with them.  The only team in their District they had any chance of beating last season was the Channelview game and of course they lost to them too but other than that CV game all their District games were extreme beat downs from some of the best in the state, at least 2 of which were nationally ranked and surely will be again this year.  Now, THAT’S a tough schedule.

Definitely would probably take home the toughest district award for sure 🤣
