Nothing yet on the internet either. The Twins have traded a massive amount of players, btw. baddog 1 Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted Thursday at 11:17 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:17 PM Astros actually gave up more (as far as players go) getting Sanchez than they did Correa. Houston just added more salary with getting Correa. Quote

Being that MLB doesn't have a salary cap, taking on Correa's salary isn't all that big a deal. (particularly since we don't have to pay 33 mil of it). We needed an every day 3B since Paredes is done for the year. Correa should do fine there. He is hitting for average about the same as Paredes. Just will need to hit for more power. Be curious to see where he ends up in the batting order. Getting Sanchez was a bonus. Houston desperately needed a left handed hitter. He should help bolster the outfield and may allow Altuve to play 2B more and lead off as well. I would have liked Houston to have picked up a starting pitcher. They are really short handed there, particularly since they gave up Gusto to get Sanchez. Overall, I give them an A-. baddog 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted Friday at 01:44 AM Report Posted Friday at 01:44 AM If we can start hitting on a consistant basis, we can make up for some of the off pitching. Also I am fine with everything as long as it doesn't affect Dubon. IMO he is the best utility man in the league as he can play almost every position. Throughout this last slump, he was one of the only ones hitting. We will see what transpires😆 Quote

rupert3 Posted yesterday at 01:55 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:55 AM Oh well nice pitching and no run support for Hunter. 2-1 loss on walk off sngl in 11. Pena 3-5 baddog 1 Quote
baddog Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Author Report Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Peńa also hurt his hamstring on his last swing. In the 10th, I think Diaz’s play was at 1st. It wasn’t close to getting the runner at 3rd. Probably would have still scored with 1 out, but it lessens the chances. Just my humble opinion. Why do we still have McCormick? rupert3 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago Pena not in lineup today. Altuve in leadoff spot playing 2B. Correa playing SS, Urias at 3B. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Astros score just 3 runs on 14 hits. Of those 14 hits, only one of them (Walker's HR) was an extra base hit. Houston had 14 LOB's today. Can't win too many games leaving that many on base. Quote
baddog Posted 20 hours ago Author Report Posted 20 hours ago What an improvement with all the trades. Lol. You know, you can’t “expect” a grand slam, but at least swing. Like you said, the LOBs killed us. rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Only good thing about today we still 3 1/2 up as Rangers beat Mariners 6-4 in 11 and Rangers now 4 back I think Rangers 4 1/2 Quote
rupert3 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Not much to say about this sweep. Only 3 hits. 6-1 muff Just no hitting. Correa dinger and that's it Pressly released by Chicago and Astros going after him wow Quote
